I’d gone on many adventures with BlackRose and reached a decent level as a beginner.
On that day, she was absent because she was busy.
So I logged in to Mac Anu with the intention of adventuring alone.
On the way from the Chaos Gate to the shop, I passed two PCs.
“Hey, you,” came a voice from one of them.
I stopped walking. Just then I realized that the other person’s appearance was very different.
One was a shy, Wavemaster boy. This was no problem.
The other PC he spoke to was the problem.
This PC had the form of an animal.
But were there any animals in the character races you could choose in The World?
Also, I wasn’t sure what the motif was.
It looked like a rabbit when you saw the two big, long ears extending over the head, but the face, especially the vertically elongated eyes, looked like those of a cat.
The body was slender like a woman, but the voice was like a boy’s.
In other words, it was a vague PC, whether it was a rabbit or a cat, or a woman or a man.
“Huh? Me?”
“You there, yeah, you!”
The cat PC (let’s call it that for now) approached as though leaning in. I took a half step back, but the PC moved in closer.
“You have an unusual bracelet!”
The cat PC was staring at my right hand.
Could it be, I thought. It seemed that the bracelet was visible to the PC.
“You can see it?”
“Of course. Can’t you see your lovely bracelet?”
While I was having trouble answering, the cat PC looked up and looked at me.
“Even if it’s not visible, if you know it’s there, it’s the same as being able to see it.”
I stared at the wrist that held the bracelet, but of course I couldn’t see anything. There was nothing there.
“A bracelet?”
The boy called Elk, who was a Wavemaster, blinked several times.
“Mia, what is it? I can’t see anything.”
Without answering that question, the cat PC came closer and looked right into my eyes. Very close. This cat PC has a strange sense of distance.
“Thank you. You showed me something nice.”
There was a mischievous smile on the PC’s face.
“I hope to meet you again.”
“Hey, Mia. Let’s go where there are lots of Aromatic Grass now,” the Wavemaster asked as though in a rush.
I couldn’t tell whether the cat PC, whose gender and animal-type I still couldn’t decipher, had heard the Wavemaster’s voice, but the PC raised its right hand as it turned its back to me and walked away.
“See you again. Sometime, somewhere.”

“Mia is my friend!” the boy said as though screaming, before running after his partner.
I was taken aback by this and I watched as they walked away.
There were two strange guys again.
