The palm and the sword collided producing a thunderous sound. A gigantic explosion occurred up in the sky. Gigantic rocks came hurling down from the sky. It was good news that the guards were able to intercept them before they even managed to touch the ground.

Spectators below could feel the bellowing waves of energy. It was good thing that they were formations around the coliseum that help shield them from the impact, if not countless lower cultivators could had been heavily injured, Kiel was no exception. With his cultivation, just the faint waves could seriously injure him.

Dust was the only thing visible down the arena and the crowd were incapable of asserting who won with the exchange. Silence ensued the venue. It tension spread through the audience as the dust slowly faded.

"Look overe there!" One of the audience shouted in shock!

As the dust slowly settled and the spectators where shock of what they saw.

"Jie Xiaoma actually won!!!"

He was sitting with blood and wounds all over his body, his once-suit of armor have long been destroyed in to pieces His hair was shriveled and he was breathing heavily. In front of him was Yuan Jun laying on his back, unconscious. His injuries way worse. Jie Xiaoma knew that if wasn't for his stronger and stable body, It would have been him who would have lost the exchange.

He stood up and slowly made his way towards the bottles and placed in his spatial ring. Doing so, he could not help but let out a satisfied and grin. He looked at a group of cultivators wearing red clothes. "Go take Yuan Jun away before his injuries get worse"

The group was awoken from their daze and hurried carried Yuan Jun to get him treated. If he get worse then the elder might shift the blame to them!

Jie Xiaoma chuckled as he looked at his rival being carried away. 'Yuan Jun, oh Yuan Jun... You wouldn't be able to defeat me in the future anymore. The moment you lost here is the moment you sealed your fate to be second.'

Along with those thoughts, Jie Xiaoma couldn't help but hum as went out of the arena to treat his injuries. He knew that with this win, he was a step closer to his ultimate dream. To be number 1 across the continent.

....

Kiel was still awed by the battle 'So that's a cultivator, they were basically monsters! If he had this power back on earth then maybe he wouldn't be here. Heck! even conquering earth wouldn't be a problem. If experts of the core formation stage could be this formidable.... then what the cultivators in the realms? It wouldn't be far to call them gods!?'

Kiel was struck with a thought, it felt like a new door was opening up for him. "If they have the power similar to gods.... if I were to become like them.... Then finding a way back to Earth wouldn't be a problem!!!" The stronger he gets, the more opportunities he could get!

Kiel was grinning widely with his speculation. 'Though it may not be the a sure thing but its the closest thing if I ever want to go back home!'

Kiel slapped his thigh and stood up with his hands on his waist. Laughing his head off. 'Amy... Aya... Daddy now know his way home!!!"

Man Liangji was jolted, his face full of shocked with Kiel's crazy display 'What's wrong with him!? Could it be that the shock waves had injured his brain... but the formation was activated moments ago! can it be that it malfunctioned!?'

He wasn't the only one with this line of thought. People around Kiel all looked at him with weird and amused faces. thoughts like;

'The fight might have destroyed this kids brain!'

'A piece stone might have past through the formation and hit this boy in the head!'

Think all they want but Kiel was too occupied with his thoughts, even if he knew he wouldn't care! All that matters was he knew what to do now. Cultivate! Cultivate until he breakthrough to the higher realms!

'Is this what they call the way of cultivation? Cultivating to achieve what the heart desires?'

Kiel looked at Man Liangji and saw his weird face as he was staring at him. "Brother Liangji, Why are you looking at me like that?"

Man Liangji was amused "Me? I should be one the asking the questions. You were suddenly laughing like a crazed madman out of nowhere! Boy tell me did a rock accidentally hit your head?"

Kial was stunned, yeah come to think about it, it seem to be the cased. He was so happy that he forgot where he was. He surveyed around and noticed the onlookers nearby. Seeing their amused and weird face. He couldn't help but retort in his heart. 'Why!? Can't a man be happy? Daddy finally found a way home!'

Thinking about it again, A wide and joyous smile appeared again in his face, even bursting out a small giggle. Man Liangji and the crowd all had the same thought.

'This guy was definitely hit in the head by a rock!'

Kiel only laughed, his face plastered with wide joyous smile. Happily patting Man Liangji's back "What? I'm just happy! Come on! Let's go back, the team must be looking for us right now"

Man Liangji's mouth couldn't help but twitch, letting out only a word.

"O-okay…"

....

The duo came back to the inn. Kiel was smiling widely along the way. He was even warmly greeting some store owners along the way, so was Man Liangji's weird expression. He kept thinking along the lines of;

'Will they be able to hunt with little Chen's current state!?'

'I hope captain Shi wouldn't blame me! It was the rock's fault for hitting him in the head!'

On the other hand Kiel was thinking about his future. making plans to cultivate. He was oblivious to the thoughts of Man Liangji. Even if he knew, he would just laugh it off!

The rest of the team was seated on a table, having their meal. Huang Shi noticing the duo, wipe his mouth with a towel

"You guys, where have you been?"

The two found their own seats and ordered food. Man Liangji was excited as he recounted the battle between Jie Xiaoma and Yuan Jun.

"Woah! Really!? that happened for real!?"

"Sigh! As expected of geniuses! They leagues above us common cultivators! Such could be written in the history books!"

"Jie Xiaoma would surely be a legend in the future!"

The group continued to discussing until they finished eating. They then geared up and set off to do what they came here for, to hunt!

....

Along the way, as they got closer to the outer section of the mountain ranges, the hunting teams that the group had encountered has been steadily increasing.

Huang Shi had a frown in his face. "Looks like there are more teams than the information stated, this will be bad for us. Mostly likely that we will have to vie for monsters to hunt."

"Isn't just a grade 4 beast? why are so many of them coming here?"

"Come! we need to move fast if we want to go home with rich spoils!"

The group sped towards Yulong camp. A camp just on the border of the outer section of the High Demon mountain range and is considered as the first line of defense against the wild-lands. If high demon from the wild-lands were to ever invade, they would first have to go through the heavy defenses of Yulong camp and Yulong Iron fortress before they could go and rampage through human cities of Yenmen region.

The group finally arrive at the camp, There were a lot of people going through towards the mountain. There were a lot of soldiers here, making their rounds, maintaining order through out the camp since the influx of cultivators from the different regions and powers.

The camp was leagues apart from the Iron fortress when it comes to grandness but it was still a sight. From the disciplined marching lines of soldiers to the Energy cannons situated around the corners of the camp. Especially the cannons, They were bigger than any artillery Kiel have ever seen, He wondered what kind of sight it would give it were ever used in battle.

Even outside of the camp were rows and rows of pits, traps and stakes. The camp was truly defended to the teeth. It shows how the army value the dreadful invasion of the Demon of the wild-lands.

The group left their horses on the camp and traveled on foot towards the outer section. after all it would hard to take care of the horses when in the heat of the battle.

Along the way, Kiel could see different kinds of demon beasts, they were tied by chains and ropes. No matter how they grow or resist, they could not break these steel and enchanted shackles.
