Instinctively, they had slipped to the bottom of the valley. Bing Ji released her hands and Long fell to the ground. Then he quickly got up, feeling very dizzy occasionally. He saw that Qiong seemed to be staggering, so he immediately rushed forward to hold her. In this sinister and unpredictable place, both felt a fear of helplessness.

In a gust of wind, Qiong's hair was blown and flew wildly in the air.

"Long, I feel so scared!" She shuddered and grasped Long’s hands without speaking more words.

"Don't be afraid. I will stay with you forever." Long shook her little hands with encouragement.

"Go!" Bing Ji withdrew her wings as she screamed viciously.

Long knew that such an enchanted creature must be very unreasonable, so he had to curse her countless times in his heart. Then, he took Qiong's hands in helplessness and continued to walk along the wet, muddy road at the bottom of the valley.

The deep pit by Hardman’s giant steel foot became a new obstacle. Long and Qiong had almost stumbled in the pits several times.

Sai Feiying greeted him. "Bing Ji, can you give them a hand? I don't want anyone to fall behind."

"Damn!" Bing Ji muttered discontentedly, but she still reached out to grab their backs. When they came across the deep pits, she gently helped them to jump them over.

The crowd wove around and over dangerous rocks towering into the clouds. A deep cave suddenly appeared on a cliff that recessed inward.

Sai Feiying and Hardman entered side by side, but Long and Qiong still hesitated. Bing Ji impatiently pushed them from behind and they both fell involuntarily into the cave.

They stumbled and moved forward, and their sight gradually adapted to the darkness. With careful observation, they finally found that the cave was very huge, with thick stone pillars along the way that supported the unreachable doom, which looked very odd. In the darkness, some phosphorescence was flashing like wildfire or the peeping of some monsters.

After moving further, there was a faint light in the distance and the temperature gradually rose. They approached and found a lava river was flowing with huge horizontal stalagmites hovering above. On two sides were steep rock walls, on which groups of strange creatures were looming and screaming at them. Walking on the stalagmites, they felt very dizzy. Fortunately, it was not so difficult for them to cross with the help of Bing Ji.

Beyond the natural passage, the road ahead gradually became flat. They finally came to the artificial passage area. Many fire points were built at the corners or vital locations. From time to time, they encountered patrolling soldiers of the Cold Blood Corps. Once seeing Sai Feiying and his entourage, they all stood in awe on the roadside, but nobody came up to speak.

Sai Feiying led all of them to reach the end of the passage finally. A huge iron gate was there, and dozens of strange muscular monsters with two wings were there. At the sight of their arrival, they stood up uneasily, holding all kinds of high-energy laser weapons and energy shields, opening their big mouths in an extremely terrible way.

"Silence, all brothers of Dingtian sect!" Sai Feiying reached out his hands to press downward solemnly. However, the warriors of Cold Blood Corps, known as the Dingtian Sect, kept squatting in front of him. It seemed that even their commander could not fully convince them to make a way at that time.

"It’s the chief Sai Feiying. Mr. Fitz gave the order to allow them to pass!” a voice shouted from above the passage to his companions below. Qiong looked up and saw a thin, two-winged guy reach out his head from a small room space built on a cliff. It was then that the arrogant giants opened the iron gate and slowly withdrew.

"Hey, Iditz!" Sai Feiying nodded and walked through the guards, leaving the passage behind.

"I’m very honored to serve you, the chief!" The stranger guy named Iditz stretched his thin, bat-like wings and flew down from midair. He passed over the head of Sai Feiying and took the lead to enter the cave.

After a long passage, they reached the large stone room, where it was bright and clear, with dozens of elders in strange black robes standing in lines. Although they were very old, their eyes were still full of strong determination. It was obvious that they used to be the best fighters.

All organic life couldn’t escape getting old, but their dignity as warriors could never be erased.

At the sight of their arrival, the tall, wrinkled one-eyed old man stepped forward and held the hand of Sai Feiying, saying, "Brother, I haven't seen you for long."

"Mr. Fitz, you seem to be very well. In the name of late Huitian Emperor, all the brothers in the Cold Blood Corps and I would like to say hello to you." The strong Sai Feiying bowed to kiss his hand.

Fitz nodded and waved to the steel giant beside him. "Commander Hardman, you are still so strong, but I’m getting much older."

"Hey, don't say that, old chap. Do you remember your former leader, Xiaotianlang Elder? Before his death, he once said that the biggest weakness of organic life was the limited vitality." Hardman blinked his electronic eyes as he answered.

"Oh, yeah, but the short life of we as individuals does not affect the power of our race. The vitality of the Cold Blood Corps is just on the endless later generations. The flesh can die out, but our spirit is everlasting," Fitz said while scanning the others who had just come in.

Suddenly, his smile froze. He was so astonished to see Long and Qiong coming in that he even forgot the presence of Hardman.
