OI OI OI! What the hell is all this blood?… Where the fuck did the Nootkerane go?” Raid roared as he saw someone had stolen his prey, for him it was supposed to be a battle filled with nostalgia.

“That’s probably it over there.” Reinhardt pointed to the ‘sea’ of blood in front of them.

“When you said that did you think I’d just say ‘Yeah makes sense.’ and agree with you? There’s no way I would believe that!”

“That seems to be the case so there’s nothing we can do about it. Sierra what happened here?” Hilda asked.
However, Sierra appeared as if she hadn’t heard her.
“Sierra!”

“Sis…. ter” Sierra finally turned to look at her.

“What the fuck happened here?”

Sierra thought of Masamune’s magic for a moment.
The crack, the eye, and the woman’s face were burned into her memory.

“I…”

“We were informed that there were two other adventurers here, what happened to them?” Reinhardt asked.

“They aren’t here…”

“Not here… What’s that supposed to mean? There’s no way you did this yourself. It would at least four adventurers at the level of the Royal White Knights to even contend with such a beast.”

“In that case you did well Sierra.” Raid chided. “What happened over there to make it like that. Did you have anything to do with it, Sierra?” Raid continued with a grin on his face. “What’d you do eat it? Come on you can at least nod can’t you?”

“Raid Shut up!” Hilda glared at him.

Reinhardt sighed. “For now contact the capital, let’s get that collected.”
He sighed again as he mounted his horse.

Reinhardt stood in the throne hall.

“So, it was Sierra who killed it?”

The man who asked was Arnold Razhausen, the current king.

“She was found at the site so we believe that’s what happened. However, she’s a bit unstable so we can’t confirm anything. I feel it’s better to wait before drawing a conclusion.”

“Well then, I’ll leave it to your discretion.”

With the audience over Reinhardt left the throne room.

“Well if it isn’t a Reinhardt. Did you have an audience with grandpa?”

“That’s disrespectful Daniel.”

The large bodied man was Daniel King, a white knight. He had brown skin and a muscular body.

“Hahaha, forget about that, I heard a nootkerane showed up. Is it true?”

“We’re still investigating.”

“Oh come on can’t you tell me anything? I bet you know something.”

Reinhardt appeared indifferent and Daniel grinned.

“What?” Reinhardt’s eyebrows were knit together.
“Something is bothering you, I can see it.”

“According to the witnesses there were three people in the engagement, but when we arrived there was only Sierra. The other two had disappeared and all that was left of the nootkerane was chunks of meat and a sea of blood.”

“A sea of blood?”

“Yeah. All that was left of it was a severely damaged corpse. The whole area was covered in a huge amount of blood.”

“I see, so that’s what’s going on. The answer is the other two.”

“Probably, Sierra most likely knows them but she’s not saying anything.”

“You could interrogate her?” Daniel frowned.

“I have no intention of asking someone who one talk. However she has her responsibility as a Royal White Knight. If she’s covering for someone who would harm this country, there can be only one outcome. The truth will come out.”

“That’s cold..” Daniel was stunned. “But if those two others did that. Whether it’s one or both of them, they’re at just as strong as we are.”

“It’s possible that they are even stronger.”

“Ha~!?” Daniel laughed loudly. “You’re joking right? You’re saying they are stronger than you?”

“I don’t know.”

Daniel looked at Reinhardt’s expression and understood, he wasn’t joking.

“The only thing that’s important, is rather they’re friend or foe.”

“By the way, it’s already noon……” Daniel was interrupted. “What’s that?”

Reinhardt’s expression changed. “This magic…. Raid?”

“Hmm? Ahh probably.”

Sensing a wave of magic the two of them left the castle.
