Reinhardt caught Hilda as she rolled down the hill.
“I’m sorry……….Edward, he….”
Hilda got up slowly but she appeared weak.
“I understand, don’t talk anymore. Just rest.”
Many of the people there including Reinhardt had felt the magic

Sierra appeared.
“She’s okay, don’t worry.”
“Uhm, Reinhardt….I can’t feel Edward’s magic power.”
“Don’t worry about him right now. Apparently the enemy decided to show themselves.”
Gido rode on the back of a large white wolf known as a Leowolf as it ran down the hill. Behind it was another Leowolf as well as an Orc-king and an ice golem.
“The empire shall consume this country!”
Gido grinned as he rode.
“《Mademoiselle Pain》!”
A thick voice that could send chills down the back of your neck rang out and a purple sphere appeared in the sky above the battlefield.
“Everyone, look out!”
An adventurer screamed out but before anyone else could figure out what was going on the sphere descended. It crashed down on top of many of the adventurers kicking up a dust cloud, it crashed down so loudly that it covered the screams as many were swallowed by Madam Fran’s magic.
“Oh, this country’s adventurers are quite weak, where exactly did they plan on going on an adventure at?”
Madam Fran floated to the ground by an umbrella she held in her hand, while Gido himself leapt from the Leowolfs back.
“Go! Crush them between your teeth!”
The wolf rushed to the battlefield as Gido himself rubbed his hands together wondering where he should start.
“This is for Edward!”
Raid appeared swinging his giant scythe down upon Gido.
“Hmm? …..Hyaa.”
A small ball of magic flew from Gido’s middle finger.
“Gaha!”
Raid abandoned his attack producing a magic shield on his stomach but the impact still blew him backwards.
“How strange, man I feel like an idiot. I spend all this time planning and finally todays the day. Then, you go and get sent flying by such pitiful magic. ”
Raid rolled as he was blown along the ground but he was able to quickly regain his feet once he stopped.
“《Fire Armor》!”
Raid’s body was wrapped in flame.
“Don’t make me laugh Raid Black.”
“Why do you know my name?”
The white knights don’t usually show themselves, and while it’s well known Razhousen itself is small.
“Well I look up all the names of people I’m about to kill. Okay I actually just asked Fran, Pyromaniac Raid. I have to say you guys are not living up to the rumors, just like that last guy. I’m disappointed.”
Raid rushed forward in anger.
“You’re persistent aren’t you. Hyaa.”
“Gaha!”
The initiation of the magic wasn’t visible and the magic ball sank into Raid’s stomach again.
“Why can’t I dodge? That’s what the look on your face is saying. It’s because my eyes are good, I watch my enemies closely. And I was watching you, before, while you were fighting. You’re really quite arrogant. Hyaa.”
The magic ball his Raid again blowing him away and causing him to vomit.
“《Tonikium》!”
Daniel appeared, lightning crackling around his fist.
“Die!”
There was no chance of the blow not connecting, however Gido seemed to easily move out of the way.
“Impossible, that should have been a blind spot. ”
Daniel was confused, unable to understand how his blow was avoided.
“Such an exaggerated movement, and you call yourself a knight. Is that armor a decoration? Oh wait, I know! Its white because it’s blank meaning you have no skill! That’s it isn’t it.”
“You bastard!”
The movement appeared to be fueled by emotion but inside Daniel was calm. However Gido saw through it.
“You’re a bad actor, allow me to teach you how to throw a punch. 《Heavy Fist》”
Gido slammed his fist into Daniel’s stomach causing him to vomit and collapse much like Raid did. However there was no magic involved, just a simple jab.
“Imperial martial arts, the foundation is different from yours.”
A cyclops appearing near them picked Daniel up.
“Let..go.”
Daniel desperately resisted while trying to ignore the pain in his gut.
“End him.”
The cyclops gripped Daniel with both hands so he couldn’t escape and slammed him violently into the ground.
“《Ground Fell》!”
Behind Gido, Emily Anderson swung her mace.
“As you can see, all of you seem to enjoy overly exaggerated swings.”
As he said this Gido side stepped the mace causing it to slam into the ground.
“Its not over yet.”
A crack appeared at Gido’s feet, as the earth began to crack even more.
“Wha!”
Gido was caught off guard for the first time since he’d come here. However his movement was to quick and he escaped to safety.
“Earth magic? How very rare.”
Gido smiled at Emily.
“To think there was someone capable of such magic here, I’m looking forward to being able to kill you.”
“I wonder about that.”
“Whoa!”
Gido used a hastily drawn dagger to deflect Reinhardt’s sword.
“Oh if it isn’t Reinhardt, white knight rank one. The strongest person in Razhousen.”

“Where did you find that information? That’s what your face says anyway. Truth is, I don’t know..”
With Edward dead, Hilda having retreated, Daniel and Raid unconscious, the only remaining White knights were Reinhard, Emily, and Sierra. However Sierra was currently facing off against A rank monster’s with Toa and Nem. She couldn’t be spared.
“《Hetun de Rey》!”
A red aura covered Emily’s arms and legs, an agility and physical attack enhancement. Then she jumped at Gido who appeared to be in a stalemate with Reinhardt’s sword.
However her defense was weak, and creating an opportunity Gido sent another ball of magic into her foot.
“Guh!”
Hilda bit her lip against the pain, her foot was broken causing her to stop.
“Its not that I am strong, you are weak.”
“《Knights costume》!”
Countless white veils appeared around Reinhardt’s feet.
“Goodness.”
Gido planted a kick into Emily’s side sending her flying into a group of adventurers.
“Why are you doing this?”
Reinhardt’s and Gido’s blades were intersected.
“If you can beat me I’ll tell you. So… basically you’re going to die without ever finding out.”
Around them adventurers and knights alike fought a mix of A and S rank monsters. However it was a losing battle.
“If we stay like this all your friends are going to die.”
Reinhardt glared at Gido down the blade of his sword.
“Shut up.”
Those words caused Gido to smile.

The adventurers were exhausted, however they were not able to rest.
“Cedric! They’re still coming!”
“I know! Yogi, provide support over there!”
The two of them were in a deadlock.
“Toa, another monster is coming!”
Toa looked back as Sierra shouted.
“Thats, a Leowolf?”
The Leowolf approached Toa but she stood still, unable to move.
“Toa!”

Sierra called out to her but for some reason she didn’t move. Before it was too late Nem crashed into Toa sending them rolling out of the way of the Leowolfs charge.
“Toa, get it together!”
“Nem……”
Toa seemed to be in a daze.
“That time, my father was there…..”
“Toa?”
Nem stared down at Toa with an uneasy look on her face.
“Nem, another one is coming!”
Sierra joined them.
“There are so many S ranks.”
Screams indicated every time someone died. Along with Madam Fran there were S and A rank rank monsters, this couldn’t be called a fight.
“If it goes on like this.”
Sierra was speechless.
“Lady look out!”
Looking back at Yogis shout they see a Leowolf charging them. Sierra positioned herself between it and Nem, Toa was also on the ground behind her.
“Its not use lady! Run away!”
Yogi urged her to run but Sierra had acted on instinct, moving to protect her friends. Before she could attempt to escape with them the leowolf had already crashed into her.
“Sierra!”
Nem shouted as Yogi and Cedric looked on in disbelief. Toa was in a daze and Sierras body laid on the ground.
“No!”
In response to Yogis shout the adventurers that had fought with Sierra even for a short amount of time rounded on the Leowolf.
“《Explosive Fist》!”
Yogi punches out with a glowing fist.
“《Magic Gale Sword》!”
Cedric charged with wind circling the blade of his sword. All the adventurers activated their strongest skills and magic charging in. The ground shook with their fury. But the difference was too great, Cedrics sword broke on contact. The other attacks amounted to throwing a pebble at a bear. Noticing the Leowolf raised its right forepaw into the air.
“No way.”
The leowolf slammed its paw down.
“Guha!”
The adventurers were blown away, their bodies racked with pain. With the distractions gone the leowolf turned its attention back towards Nem. She trembled as it came closer.
“Master…..”
Tears fell down her cheeks as she stood there unable to move, scared.
“__________________________Nem, Duck!”
A familiar voice rang out. The leowolfs body popped like a balloon in a shower of meat and blood. And a great wind seemed to clear out the dust cloud that had enveloped the battlefield.
“I’m glad I made it in time.”
“Master…….”
“Nem you can relax now, I’ll take it from here.”
Nem wiped her eyes as, sporting large red black wings, Masamune finally, arrived on the battlefield.
