I am soaked in water and the cold weather has kept me shivering. I can't stop running, alley to alley, trying to outrun and hide to a safer corner. I reached the silent road that connects two cities. Out of a sudden a car is racing its way on the road, the frontal lights illuminated my body, and thunderous voices echoed behind me.

"B**** you cannot hide from us! you should stop there before we catch you!"

With deep breaths and tears that fall endlessly I continued to run. Eyes filled with determination spark in me. I can't stop now, I need to survive, I need to avenge my grievances, I need to fight!

The car stopped beside me. This might be my crucial end, then men in uniform came out and appear in front of me. Hurrying to pull me in that car without letting me react. I lost the chance to struggle when their contact made me froze in place. They placed me at the back and I have a feeling that someone's already sitting there.

A fluffy towel was draped on my shoulders, lessening the cold. I'm trying my best to stay awake, but my body's beyond exhausted.

---

The last thing I remember was saying 'Thank You' then that man move closer to me before I completely lose consciousness. His heat make me even drowsier. I close my eyes and let the darkness drown me. Somewhere in my heart I know in his arms I'm safe.

---

The next morning I woke up with sore legs, numb arms and a burning fever. My clothes are changed into someone's sleeping wear. My hair is neatly brushed, but who did it?

I freely let my eyes wander around the room, it's utterly masculine. Wall curtains in white and blue, beddings and pillows covered in blue, with artistic ceilings painted in blue. Everything matches, all along with an addictive manly scent that fills the air.

The rays of the sun peaks from the window. Trying to adjust my eyes, I guess vaguely that the owner of this room must be a billionaire, since all things displayed in this room are highly expensive, but I know I could easily afford them before things took a 360 turn and let my own relatives take almost everything that I've earned from my years of hard work.

I sighed.

"good thing you're awake by now" someone spoke with a husky voice behind me, was I too drowned in my own thoughts that I haven't heard the doors ding open?
