Nick and Jim were best friends; they were cultists belonging to the same group. They partied together, carried out their murder operations together, did everything together that they in their own capacity thought they'd live forever and continue doing everything together. Once, they were preached to by some young people whom they threatened to kill if they wouldn't let them be and enjoy life. Jim said 'What is it and this boring Christianity? Well, one fateful day after an unlucky operation, Jim was shot dead (at the age of seventeen) by the police, in an attempt to escape with Nick. Nick was lucky enough to elope; he packed his bags and left the city. With so much grief from the demise of his friend and nowhere to start life from as he didn't feel like going back to his former life without his only partner, he began working at a diner. There, he met a lady who told him about Jesus and made him understand that the Bible was more than just a big black book. He repented totally of his ways a year later and resolved in his heart to be a missionary for God.
Need I say more? I guess you can draw out your conclusion from this story. Jim wasn't as lucky as Nick. NO NEED TO GAMBLE WITH LIFE. We may not all be as lucky as the thief on the cross with Jesus who sinned all his life yet made paradise on his last day.
