Even though he was saved from her sister that day, he still had to face her on regular basis which caused his lazy lifestyle to be one of constant terror as he couldn't run away from her due to lure of information but her constant harassment caused him to lose any and all dignity he had left as a man, as she would constantly do things to him that were common for kids his age but he was a grown man or a 169 year old fogey to be correct, thus causing the terror in his heart as in his infant body he was not even able to retaliate, even though his stats were much higher than a normal infant but compared to a teen it was a far cry in this new world and thus began his bitter life of information gathering by enduring constant humiliations like changing diaper and being forced to be bathed by someone else, well if the bathing was done with a beauty Alfie wouldn't mind but the problem was that he was forced to bathe with his elder sister.
He was able to get information about his family's status, Royal family of The Great Gran Kingdom implying that he was a prince and also that his father was the current king of The Great Gran Kingdom. He was also able to get the information about the world which he got by eavesdropping his elder brother when he was reading a book out loud for his sister.
"There are 3 continents in this world, the continent that we are one is on the southernmost part of the world, its name is Southern Green Continent but commonly it's called Redash Continent due to mass slaughter committed by a necromancer which resulted in major cities of the continent dying in red form blood and the ashes of death magic caused agricultural fields of the continent to turn lifeless. This all happened in ancient times and to prevent him from exterminating all life from the continent, all the experts of the continent along with few from other continents banded together to kill him but the war resulted in many deaths on experts side and in the end an expert used his life to seal the necromancer where he is trapped till today and to make sure that people remember this tragedy the continent is called Redash as to signify the extent of atrocities, one can bring to common people and of sacrifice that those experts made to protect the whole continent."
"Oh... oh ….oh ….. What was the name of the experts who defeated the evil necromancer?" the angel like Tephanie asked with an excited look the same as a novel reader would make when he/she is reading the climax of the novel.
"Well….. About that, no one without enough power is allowed to know about the names of the experts and the necromancer as we mortals are not even allowed to judge these kinds of legendary beings, but if you still want to now you can try to find about it in the royal library as almost all the knowledge in the kingdom is stored in the library, when you are allowed to access it" he smiled teasingly towards his little sister as he knew she will not be allowed to enter the library as she had caused a mess of a few books in the library, as she was the princess she was only banned from the library for a year, which was the lightest punishment and for her it was nothing as she hated reading.
"Huh…. Who wants to read books like old fogeys, it's so boring I just want to play all day" she snorted cutely then hopped off with Alfie in her arms, while Alfie was staring at his brother for help with teary eyes but his elder brother just ignored his eyes.
'I will take my revenge from you little girl, I will make you pay for this' he thought to himself as he was in her arms, he would think about it whenever he was being manhandled by the little girl.
As for the story, that his brother told his sister he thought nothing of it as he thought that it was a story made to entertain the little girl and to encourage her to study.
He also listened to his mother when she talks to her friend and maids, this also became a source of information for him but this source had lots of tales as well such as villages being wiped out by demonic beasts and how a single man defeated many such demonic beasts but he also got different type of information some which a child would not know such as skirmishes around the border of kingdom and many more but it was difficult for him to differentiate false from truth in this case as he didn't have any basic information about the kingdom thus he just recorded all information like a sponge.
But after some time he started to doubt the knowledge of this civilization as he could see that they were able to generate artificial lighting and heating thus implying that they were advanced but from their talks of demonic beast, spirits and ascended life forms forced him to start thinking that he is reincarnated in some religious kingdom and his family was a family of religious fanatics. This caused him to a headache as his future plans would hamper due to his family's religious belief as he came to like his mother and father, even though he hated his sister.
'I would have to find it all out when I have grown enough, as it's time for me to show some prowess of a genius in making' he thought of showing some of his abilities so he could understand their writing and get access to that library his brother was talking about and there won't be any repercussions to it as he was a prince and no one will question a genius prince even if he was monstrous genius, they might idolize him tough.
