Madara's words echoed through the surroundings. Esdeath for the first time in her life felt shame. Cold mist started to gather around her, the entire place was starting freeze.
Esdeath was the trump card of the Royal Army, the strongest they have. She possess a Teigu that allows her to control and make ice. Her three subordinates, the three beasts were no different either.
One of them, the large man possess a double edged axe. A mustached man possess a water controlling Teigu while the last one possess a flute that allows her to manipulate those who hear it.
Madara wasn't the least bit interested in these weapons, at most they can be considered a level two weapon and that's it.
The two men who were blown away stood up, both of them coughed out blood. Their eyes showed disbelief seeing how Madara sent them flying, what was scary was, they didn't sense how they got attacked!!
All of them attacked again. Madara squeezed the petite woman's neck. She felt it even more hard to breath, her eyes turned red from the pressure Madara put on her.
The two men saw this scene and rushed towards Madara.
Seeing the incoming attack Madara didn't move. The large man's double edged axe collided head on against Madara's chest.

The large man felt as if he striked a mountain. His palms split open from the rebound strength, the blade of his axe cracked. The large man's eyes narrowed, despair welled up inside his heart.
Madara spoke leisurely " I did tell you to entertain me, but if this is all you have then you can die."
Madara swiped his hand, a red flash went past the large man. He was split in two, both half of his body started to emit sizzling sound and burned to nothing.
The other guy, the last of the three Beasts didn't let this get in his way tried to pierce through Madara's neck but his fingers broke upon contact. Only now did he realize why the large man failed to harm Madara, his body was too strong!!
Madara caught the man's arm and broke it. He then kicked his head, the last man among the Beasts head cracked open like a watermelon. Madara looked at the petite woman struggling in his arms and said
" I can feel deep malice from you, I wonder why? Anyway.....
His hands emitted fire and burned down the last of the three Beasts. In just mere seconds, the strongest team among the empire's army was dead. Esdeath looked at Madara with a serious expression, she knew she encountered a strong opponent.
Madara looked at Esdeath " It's your turn."
Esdeath waved her hand, ice spikes emerged in mid air and covered Madara in every direction. Esdeath willed it and these spike attacked Madara.
Seconds later an area filled with ice spikes appeared. No movement could be seen among these spikes, Esdeath didn't let her guard down, she didn't believe Madara would keel over that fast.
She took out a rapier and prepared for close combat. The spike Infront of her melted revealed a figure standing there with his arms folded Infront of his chest. Esdeath felt a shiver down her spine when she saw Madara unharmed.
She attacked him without hesitation, Madara didn't dodge. Every single one of Esdeath's attack felt like it hit a mountain, her expression got worse by each passing second.
Madara yawned a bit and backhanded at Esdeath. She felt as if a huge rock struck her, the bones on her right arm was broken and she was sent flying away spitting blood.
Madara walked upto her and looked down, his long spiky hair with that dominant aura made him seem like a God from myths. Unknowingly the aura of a king leaked out from him
" Not bad, your ice ability is strong but I have seen Yuki clan members with stronger ability than you."
With that said he turned away. Esdeath felt her heart beat hard when she saw Madara's dominant aura with that strong expression. She was dazed and didn't know what to do.
Ryu was finished with the healing, he turned around just in time to see Esdeath in a daze and looking at Madara. His eyes almost popped out
' What the fudge!?.... how the heck did that happen!!?? '
Ryu and Madara left with the people. He returned to Night Raid hideout and asked Najenda to take care of them. Najenda arranged for them to be placed in a safe location.
Several hours later she busted inside and yelled at all of them
" Guys!! Come and see this report!! "
Leone " What's the deal Boss? Why are you so excited? "
