"Is this the place? Looks very normal to me," Michael asked as I stopped the car near a bar.

"And that's why you're second and I'm the first."

How could I be wrong? My all-seeing eyes could see everything. I trust this ability of mine even more than creation. The dark life force of demons was easily visible from miles away. It looked like a bunch of fireflies had been gathered together in a glass jar at midnight. Strangely enough, those demons had gathered together at the very south of the city, exactly opposite to where our house is. I wondered if the reason for this strangeness was that they knew where I was staying all this time. That would be quiet a problem.

"They've really gathered here." I stepped out of the car. Michael followed me.

"Don't be a dead weight and make sure that you run away if a fight begins," I warned Michael but he just shrugged on my warning. I knew he didn't pay much attention to my words. Sigh...

Outside the bar, a big board was constantly glowing with lightened up words -'The Sinners'. A very fit name for the place of demons. There were two guards dressed in black standing on either side of the door. I and Michael walked forward. Those two demons didn't even dare to bark at us even though they both realized we were angels. I guess they were thinking that stronger men inside would take care of us. Too bad for them.

The sound of loud music invaded my ears as soon as I entered the bar. It was very unpleasant to hear at. Couldn't they play some nice slow paced music? How can anyone even enjoy this kind? The surroundings were dimly lit and a purple hue was spread everywhere. A glittering ball hanging up was reflecting blue dots of light everywhere. A lot of people were dancing under that loud and ever-changing music while others were talking and drinking as if there was no tomorrow. They were all demons, every single one of them.

I was told about a hundred of demons are coming for me but their number here was definitely more than a hundred. And the really strong ones who could give a decent fight to me haven't even come yet. I didn't understand how that scout successfully lied to me. I was very sure he didn't lie. Perhaps they changed their plan later?

I sat down on the chair in front of the counter while Michael sat to my left. Even though I came here, I had no idea how to scare them off. My previous two attempts were not scary enough and I failed.

"What would you like, sir?" That young bartender asked with a smile. His rank among devils was so low that he didn't even realize we were angels. He thought we were devils too. I didn't know how to reply to him. I hadn't come here for drinks.

"Long time no see," I heard a familiar voice.

She was wearing a dark shirt with the topmost button open and a short tight skirt this time. Her long legs were covered by black stocking. Even though the dim light made it hard to see her fair skin, she looked as stunning as she looked the last time I saw her.

"Never thought miss Asmodeus would personally welcome me,"

"Give us the best you have," Asmodeus told the bartender. That young man slightly shivered in fear and excitement but then nodded. He didn't even dare to speak back to the queen of lust.

"Something light for me." Michael too ordered his drink at that time.

"I offer my thanks for last time."

I raised my eyebrows but didn't reply. I never wanted thanks. I only wanted peace.

"What brings you here?" Asmodeus said and sat to my right and it was then I took note of five higher demons behind her. They must be her fan club or I can say her servants. They all looked at me with hostile eyes as if it was blasphemous of me to sit on the same level as Asmodeus. Damn! It was blasphemous of her to sit near me like that.

"I heard you guys were 'still' searching for me. Thought I'd say hi to all of you." I had warned Asmodeus that night to take the demons away from this city but she hadn't listened to me.

"I thank the One winged devil for sparing my life back then," Asmodeus thanked once again with that seductive smile. Those five guys behind Asmodeus took a step back and the hostile look in their eyes instantly changed to that of fear. Ain't my title too badass?

"You're the monster?" The tallest of them shouted. As if a chain reaction occurred, his words travelled from one person to another until the loud music stopped. demons dancing on the music stopped and stared at our direction without moving as if they were statues. The demons that were sitting in the corner stood up and clenched their fist. I instantly became the focus of attention. Pin drop silence spread inside the bar instead of that ugly loud noise.

Well, that was better for me. I could just try to frighten everyone at once instead of my original plan of frightening just one 'boss'. I turned in the opposite direction and faced all of their gazes.

"I've had enough of fighting you guys. So go home and enjoy instead of coming to your death."

"Black, can't you just hold queen Asmodeus? I will clean others up in no time." Michael patted my shoulder and said. As I thought, he had accompanied me for revenge. The angels were getting murdered in the great hunt of demons and he wanted some payback. He couldn't kill them all by himself. Michael was the youngest of the Seraphs. His and Asmodeus' power should be almost equal.

"I don't want to stain my hand in their filthy blood any longer," I shrugged on his suggestion and removed his hand.

I turned back and it was silence again. By that time, the bartender had prepared a drink for us. His hands were shaking as he passed the drinks to both of us and Asmodeus. I was glad his grip was strong enough to last until the glass reached me. The wine was really strong and it kinda ignited a fire in my stomach for a moment. Too bad I was immune to poisons too. I could never get drunk...

"Do you know?" Asmodeus asked.

"What?"

"I was there when you descended at Gehenna." It was surprising. I had lost my mind back then. I didn't remember ever seeing this woman there.

"You were so ferocious that day like a hungry beast. I felt admiration for you when I saw your monstrous strength end that never-ending evil nature in your heart. To be honest, I didn't feel bad for the demons who died that day. They death sacrifice was paving a way for you to shed your purity and convert to be one of us." Her eyes were shining brightly as she spoke. I sneered on her words. As if I'd ever turn to the dark side.

"Too bad that you couldn't continue and that Eden summoned you back. My mind screamed that this bloodthirsty who could even frighten the lifestream of Eden could once again revitalize the Gehenna and we would finally be free from oppression," Asmodeus sighed as other demons too silently listened to her story. She continued after a moment, "But the last time I saw you, you looked so pitiful. Your ferociousness and your wildness has already disappeared. You were like a tiger without claw. You were like... A beast who was tamed and made to play with balls in a circus in front of everyone for their entertainment."

Michael who was drinking from his glass spat everything in front as he heard those words. That young bartender barely dodged it. Michael laughed out loud, "Hahaha. I told you she did a fine job in taming you." This guy was seriously annoying. I should have just kicked him away midway. In the end, instead of refuting him, I decided to ignore him.

"Do not take my actions as my cowardice. I just have had enough."

"Anyway, I just want you to know that when you do convert, I'll be there at your service. It'd be an honour for me."

I got up and started walking to the exit. Those motionless demons moved away to make a way for me. I've had enough of her blabbering. My patience had a limit. I had realized that the way I am now, I cannot scare them away. These barbarians only understand the language of blood.

"You cannot escape your destiny as a bloodthirsty. Sooner or later, you will join us!" Asmodeus shouted.

"I came here to tell you guys that you should stay away from me. If I start killing once again, even mother will not be able to stop me. This time, it'll be different."

Every single bloodthirsty converts and becomes a demon. They let go of their angelic soul and embrace the darkness. It is the destiny of a bloodthirsty to become a demon. That was the reason my birth parents left me in wilds to die. They were ashamed that they gave birth to such a scourge. I'd have died long ago if not for mother. Mother never discriminated against me for being like that.

Asmodeus' words weren't lie. But I had my own way to counter the bloodlust. As long as my angel was by my side, I was sure I will not be drowned in wrath again. I just needed a little more time.

And the day I return those memories to my Eve will be the day I escape my destiny.
