We only stayed in the lake for about half an hour. I was having fun and I didn't want to leave. But Black kept repeating his meaningless words of how he doesnt have much time left. I reluctantly left while thinking that the lake wasn't going anywhere and we could come here again later. Black dried us both with his ability and we continued on our journey.

That place where we parted wasn't far from the lake. We reached this cliff in about twenty minutes. When we reached there, Black let his wing out.

"Wait a bit," he whispered and flew away. I followed his silhouette for a few seconds before he merged with the night sky and as he did, some clouds that were hiding the moon moved away and the bright full moon was right in front of me. As I looked at the moon, I realized that the moon was no less amazing than the sun. I don't know why I was not as crazy for the moon as I was for sunrises.

I looked around that cliff. It all looked so familiar to me, as if I was living my dream. Light green orchid like flowers were growing everywhere on that cliff. I remember that this was the place where the kid Black was standing before taking his flight. I walked to the top and I could see a deep valley from there covered in dark green. The other mountains of the Alekha mountain range were standing tall, wanting to soar above the sky.

On a tall peak up ahead, the weather started to turn bad all of a sudden. All the grey clouds started to converge around that mountain and covered more peaks. The clouds turned darker and darker. It started raining heavily. Rain of fire instead of water. Lightning bolts appeared and started to swim among the clouds as if they were dragons. I could hear the loud roars of those lightening bolts. The clouds started to spin around the peak as if a singularity had appeared in the sky. I had seen such view before. It was when the angels fell on Earth. I could faintly guess that Black had something to do with this sudden change of weather.

After a few short moments, the clouds disappeared as if they were never present and that mountain peak regained its serenity. As I was looking at the sky, I saw a silhouette. Black was flying back towards me.

"What did you do?" I asked as he landed in front of me and tried to catch his breath.

"I opened a gate back to Eden. Angels can now return back to their world."

"Will you too return to your world?"

Black looked towards that peak and replied, "I don't think I will ever return."

When he said those words, the middle of his forehead started to glow with blue diamond shaped symbol. The Pandora's box appeared out of his forehead. Black extended his left palm out and the box started to hover above it. The box emitted blue particles and those particles gathered together and transformed into the little Eve.

But as soon as little Eve appeared, Black created a spherical barrier around her. It was the same barrier he had created to stop demons from escaping on that night. He had imprisoned her in a barrier that not even the strongest of demons could break.

"Not today."

"Why did you confine her?" I asked but Black didn't respond to me.

He put his right hand over his heart. When he lifted his hand from his skin, a circular symbol had appeared over his heart with its light passing through his shirt. The light was brighter but had dark blue hue. An illuminating object started to come out of his heart. It appeared the same as Pandora's box but it was spherical instead of tetragonal. Black once again extended his hand and the spherical object hovered above his right hand.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It is Pandora's Heart. Please accept it Eve."

"I get it that the box contains my memories. But what does this sphere contains?"

"This I can not tell."

"Is that why you confined little Eve?"

Black nodded in affirmation. I extended my hand towards the shining ball and as I did, little Eve started to grow restless. She shook her head and mouthed the word 'No!'. She repeatedly hit the walls of the barrier with her little hands but her hand only turned back into blue particles when she hit it. I hesitated because of her behaviour.

"I will never harm you." Black softly spoke in a pleading voice.

"Of course you will not. But please tell me what does this contain." Black kneeled down on the ground and literally begged with teary eyes.

"Please, Eve. I beg you. Please, accept it. It's the last wish of a dying man."

"What the hell!?" I was shocked to hear those words from his mouth. I felt like the whole world around me has lost its colors and it was crumbling down. Why did this happen? Was that the reason he kept saying he doesn't have much time left? Was that the reason I was feeling his behavior was a bit odd? It all made sense now. Why was he dying? How much time does he have left? Thousands of questions appeared in my mind.

"Pleaseee."

I grabbed that Pandora's Heart. And as I did, Black fell and his head hit the ground. It felt like he was a kite whose string was cut. I quickly helped him sit down.

"Thank you for accepting it." Black said and handed the Pandora's box to me. The barrier around little eye started dissipating and she was soon free. Little Eve flew towards me.

"Now will you tell me how come you're dying? You are the strongest angel. How can this happen to you?"

"He lied," little Eve answered me. She glared at Black with hateful eyes. I was so angry at Black for lying to me like that. Did he not know how bad i would feel when he would lie to me like that? I stood up and looked at him.

"Why did you do it?" I questioned him. Black looked right into my eyes and gave me a wide smile.

"You are my heir."

Just then something strange happened. That Pandora's Heart in my hand started shaking on its own. I opened my hand and the shining ball of light flew towards my heart. It just went right through my skin, my flesh and bones. I could feel a strange heat source inside my heart. Black somehow stood up and retreated a few steps back. Another transparent barrier appeared around me. But I could feel that Black didn't create this barrier. That ball of light inside my heart did it.

"What are you doing Black?"

Black let out his wing and spread it afar. Black then reached out for his wing with his hand and held it tightly.

"I don't want to be an angel anymore, love." He said and pulled it as hard as he could. I could roughly make out that his wing had somewhat dislodged. And it finally dawned upon me what he was doing.

"No! Stop this madness!" I screamed loudly and Black screamed with me, in pain. I wanted to walk to him and stop him myself but this damn barrier wouldn't allow me. I hit that barrier again and again but I was powerless. He was hurting and all I could do was watch him hurt himself. He cried out and I had never seen him cry in pain like that. Pain finally got the better of him and he had to stop halfway. He was huffing hard.

"Ha! Ha! I knew it would hurt, but this much..."

"Black stop it, please! Don't be so cruel to yourself."

"I told you I found a way to escape my fate." Black got up, held his wing again and pulled it. With a snap, he tore off his wing. Fresh crimson blood dropped from one end of his wing. It made me numb to my bones.

Before I could think of anything else, the Pandora's box in my hand started vibrating too. I opened my hand and it flew towards my head the same way the Pandora's heart did. As I felt another source of heat from my forehead, I felt that the barrier was slowly becoming more substantial, blocking away my sight of Black. Just before it darkened to the point of pitch blackness, I saw a white ray of light falling from the sky like some meteor. When Black saw that falling light, he laughed heartily.

"Haha! So you had it all along mother. I am glad you approve of my decision mother. Thank you mother, thank you!"

Black's words reverberated in that darkness before they too faded away as if they were an echo. I stood in complete darkness. It was so dark that I felt I had closed my eyes. Even the ground beneath my feet had turned black. And then finally, little Eve appeared out of nowhere as the only source of light in that darkness.

"It's the Realm," little Eve informed me.

"Am I supposed to know it?"

"It's the place where you can regain your memories. So tell me, whose memories do you want to see first? Yours? Or his?"
