Silver Manor
Some time earlier that day, Allister Keir just got home. The head butler Goro is already waiting at the door to greet him.
"Sir, elder Madam is waiting for you inside" the butler politely said.
"She's still here?"
"yes Sir, i passed on your message earlier but the elder madam said she could wait...she is waiting for you at the balcony." Butler Goro wearily said, his face looked stressful.
Allister's mother, Helena Keir is the current madam of the head family. When her husband, Allister's father passed away 5 years ago, she sold their previous property and bought an estate within Palazzo Archon so she can easily visit her son's.
Helena and her late husband have four children with Allister as the oldest, then Elli who is just a year younger, Mian the only daughter and is Tristan's mother, the youngest is Ivan who committed suicide at a young age of 16 (his death was published as an accident to avoid any negative publicity).
At present, there are three Keir's living within Palazzo Archon at a different estate but Allister has long been estranged with his mother and brother. Mian who married the Felan clan heir is currently living out of the country.
Allister saw his mother resting at the balcony, standing beside her were two middle age women, her personal nurse and maid.
"mother, let's go inside its getting cold here", Allister spoke.
"so you still recognize me as your mother?" madam keir scoffed, she then signaled for the two women to leave them.
"i called you earlier about an important matter" Allister responded.
"important?! do you think i dont know where you've been! that woman is long dead Allister!" madam keir angrily insinuated.
"is that why you're here?" Allister spoke calmly but the madness glint on his eyes is clearly visible.
Madam Keir's anger dissipated, she know talking about that woman is a taboo to her son. That wretched woman who caused major turmoil and ruined her family! how can she forgive her?!
There was a long silence between them after that, madam Keir who know of her son's cold personality decided to concede for now.
"you friend Wang Li visited me the other day, he tried contacting you but your always unavailable...what have you been doing?"
"painting"
"and you can't afford to at least see him even once? they are an old friend of our's, you can't treat them like that" madam Keir ranted.
"is it something important?" Allister said uncaringly.
Madam Keir give him an exhausted glare, 'it is all that woman's fault!' she thought again and firmly gripped her hand, 'her relationship with her son wont be this bad and his son wouldn't live like a monk if that woman didn't came into the picture!'... "it's about Mr.Wang's daughter, they would like to reinstate the engagement"
Allister merely reacted, "was it because of the rumor?" he asked in a stoic face.
"rumor or not this matter has long been overdue! that wild son of yours needed to be tamed! tell me, who among those women is more qualified to be the next madam than Calin Wang?!" madam Keir spoke aggressively.
"shouldn't you asked Shin first?"
madam Keir snarled, "hmp! what for!? with your son's reputation its already a miracle that Calin change her mind...we will announce their engagement on my banquet."
"then, don't say i didn't warn you" Allister blankly said.
"i am still the elder head of the family and my decision is final!" madam Keir replied indignantly.

Yeri narrowed her eyes upon seeing where their heading, 'is this guy serious?! this is his important matter to attend to?' yeri's mouth twitched, who would bring a woman he barely know to a cemetery in the middle of the night? if shes a normal woman, she's probably shaking in fear now. what a way to a woman's heart!
Eternal Hill is like a park inside, with just the lamp post along the main road the rest of the place is completely dark.
A sudden realization dawned on her, what if... Shin planned this all along? come to think of it, not even a single soul know except the two of them that she left her dorm! nor anyone is aware that she's with Shin.
This is what you call a perfect murder!
Yeri felt her whole body turned cold. All this time, Shin is probably holding a grudge and is just acting friendly to fool her. Why the hell did she let her guard down to a certified psychopath she can't control?!
"were here love..." Shin spoke disrupting Yeri's thoughts, "will walk a little since the mausole-"

"are you ok?" Shin notice her pale face and touch her cheek.
"hmmm...a-anyways its cold outside so ill stay here, just do what you needed to do"
"no let's go together, don't worry babe i bought us extra coats", Shin pulled out a paperbag at the back, took out a coat and wrapped it around her.
However Yeri still didn't move, Shin notice her discomfort while she keep on looking outside, the corner of his mouth curve, "is my baby scared of ghost?" Shin whispered to Yeri's ear.
'who cares about ghost?! with you around even ghost will run away' Yeri internally sneered giving him a side-eye. "yes, yes im scared of ghost so ill stay here" Yeri said sarcastically.
"Ok!" Shin said and alighted from the vehicle, he then turned to the passenger side and grabbed her.
