More than anyone, your father clearly know the outcome, so his only feasible option left is for your brother to escape then used some hush money to keep this from blowing up. I have to hand it to your father though, it's still a mystery to me how he manage to stay afloat all this time despite going against the Wang's. Afterall, these people aren't the merciful type, they don't settle for less."
