Mo Bai shook his head and could not help but reveal a smile.
“At least, I know……” Gu Qingyu sighed. She realized that their team didn’t lack anything! If someone came to assassinate, Jia Qizhe would take care of them; If someone was hurt, Mo Bai would treat them; If someone need advice, Qi Yichen would persuade them; If someone need help with shopping, Little Qi would take care of the bargaining (Little Qi, “Hey! Why is my specialty ‘bargaining’?!”); As for herself……evaluating and studying people??

Once she came to this conclusion, she happily strutted along the way. Everyone just stared at her.

She gazed towards a small house. The house was surrounded by a bamboo grove as protection, and there was a river flowing close by.

“If Qingyu wishes, you could stay here forever.” said Qi Yichen suddenly.
“Che~ As if! This is your home, not mine.” She waved her hands dismissively, “Hurry up and report to your master!”
“No need.” A rather young voice came through. A figure landed in front of them, “I’m here.”

The man before her eyes; Dressed in black, he and Qi Yichen had a sharp contrast; His eyebrows were slightly upturned, and seemed to have quite the vigor; He seemed to be around Qi Yichen’s age, and his hair was raised up with a black hairband——
Ji Qichen, are you sure he’s suffering from mental disorder?

The others just acted as if everything was nothing out of the ordinary.

“It’s rather late tonight. Since we have many rooms here, please go and rest in your individual chambers. Qingyu, come with me.” That “Master” casually called out her name “Qingyu” as if they were old friends.
“Ok……” Gu Qingyu curled her lips and followed him.
Mo Bai looked uneasy as he glanced at her, but he didn’t say anything. When no one paid attention, his hand, let out a faint green glow.
She followed the black-robed man, endlessly twisting and turning. This house looks small on the surface, but the terrain was quite complex……
At last, they stopped at a place that seemed to be a secret chamber.
He pushed open the door and went in, Gu Qingyu followed closely behind.
Right when she entered, the door slowly closed by itself.
A candle lit up on the table.
The black-robed man smiled, “How are you, Miss from another world.”
“You……” She stared at the person in front of her in astonishment, “He knew about her identity? Does that mean he also knew……the cause of her death, and her purpose?”
“This old man know what you’re thinking. First, calm down and settle your distraught thoughts……” The black-robed man pretended to stroke his chin, when in actual fact, he didn’t even have any beard.
Old man? How old is this person even?
“That……” She asked in a low voice, “May I ask, how old are you?”
The smile on his face froze, the black-robed man looked as if he received a heavy blow
Age?? What she wanted to know the most, was not the reason for her to be here, but my age??
“Cough, cough……” The black-robed man weakly coughed a few times, “This old man is past hundred years.”
Gu Qingyu looked suspiciously at him, “I don’t think so?”
“No wonder you're the chosen one of the Blood Command Jade…you're…quite…unique…” The black-robed man coughed again and looked extremely weak, “I don’t have much longer…you, must go and do one thing.” As he said, a bright red light flashed in his palm, and a red-colored rock appeared.
