"Alright, it's almost night Sylvie. You should go home now before it's too dark outside." Ilya said as she walked Sylvie out of the Adventurer's Guild.

"Un. I'll be going now than. Bye bye Ilya!" Sylvie said as she waved her goodbye before she lightly ran back home.

"Be safe! Make sure you don't go into any shady streets or anything! Make sure you always stay in public view so it's safer!" Ilya shouted from behind her as she watched Sylvie disappear.

"Yes yes, I will remember that!" Sylvie said as she continued to go home.

"Sigh, what a troublesome girl. What even made me attracted to her? Was it her cuteness? Or was it her innocence? I wonder what she will be when she grows up. Would she be the same? Or would she be the complete opposite." Ilya muttered to herself as she walked in the opposite direction towards her room in an inn.

"Hmm~ Hm hm hm~" Sylvie started to hum as she skipped along the sidewalk home.

Due to her cuteness and the aura that had shrouded everyone in the vicinity due to her. She had caused many people to stare at her. However, she continued to skip home while humming without paying attention to any of those stares.

'I should be about to be kidnapped any time soon. This is what happens to most characters in novels right?' Sylvie kept thinking to herself as she was skipping home.

However, after she was nearly home nothing had happened.

'Sigh, novels are lies. Oh well, I guess I'll just go home now. There is no point in waiting anymore.' Sylvie thought to herself as she opened the door and walked inside the house.

Creak

"Oh? Who are you little girl? Did you get the wrong house by any chance?" A woman from inside the house asked Sylvie.

"Eh? Did I get the wrong house?" Sylvie said as she looked at the unfamiliar woman in front of her.

"Wait, this is my house though? Who are you?" Sylvie asked the woman suspiciously.

"Oh, I am just living in the empty room with my husband here for now. Aria let me live here to not get in trouble with the noble war since we just fought them." The woman replied to Sylvie.

"..." Sylvie just stared at her in silence.

"Anything wrong little girl?" The woman asked her.

"Never mind… She told me to not get caught up in the noble's war. Yet she was the one that got caught up in it. Is this what you call karma?" Sylvie muttered to herself.

"Oh? So you are Sylvie? Nice to meet you then." The woman said.

"Aria, your little Sylvie is home now." The woman shouted.

"WHAT!? SHES HOME NOW!?" Aria screamed as the sound of a door being flung open loudly.

"eh?" Sylvie said in surprise as she realized Aria was not in a good mood.

"Do you know what time it is right now little girl? Go to your room right now. I need to have a talk with you." Ms. Aria said as she stared at Sylvie.

"y-yes…" Sylvie muttered.
