The next day which was Saturday was very uneventful. Katie spent most of her time working on their shop in Global mall completely forgetting about her 'date'. She worked late into the night and only sleeping late at night.
Sunday morning
Sleeping Katie is awoken by a knock on the door, unwilling to get up she rolls over hoping the person at the door will go away. But since the knocking persists, she has no other choice but o drag her body towards the door.
"WHAT DO YOU WA…" she stops midsentence when she realizes who was knocking. "CEO Ning" seeing his disapproval "um ... James? What are you doing here?" she ask not recalling the 'date' she agreed to.
"Good morning, did sleep well?" James asks ignoring her question. "UH…" confused Katie is at a loss for words. "Can I come in?", "hmm... yeah, please come in" she says finally composing herself.
A tall James in light brown Capri shorts and a plain white t-shirt with soft footed black loafers walks in looking handsome and dapper. He turns to face her "are you ready" he ask staring at the girl in pajamas. "Or did you forget about our date?" looking innocent and hurt he asks.
Finally remembering the date she agreed to, Katie blinks a couple times before saying "of course not, just let me finish getting ready. Make yourself at home." She says before escaping to her room.
"The date. I can't believe I forgot about it." She says to herself as she rushes to get ready.
'BEEP, BEEP, BEEP' Katie phone rings as she steps out of the shower, it shows a foreign number. She hesitantly picks up "Hello, who is this?"
