After the Sunday of their date James and Katie spent their days working in respective companies. James would bring dinner over to her apartment once in a while just so he could have an excuse to see her. Gradually they became closer and felt more and more comfortable in each other's presence, which left James very happy.
James spent most of his time trying to find a way to send Kyle back to London, but he was doing such a great job and his sister needed the help.

"So, how are things with you and Katie? I never asked after your date." Catherine said as she sat on the sofa in his office in a black fitted dress with strappy arms and grey accessories which brought out her eyes.
"it's actually going really well, your deputy director of finance keeps taking her for granted so I think she is finally ready to move on." James said still concentrating on the work he is typing on his computer.
"Well that's good, you should invite her tonight. Nathan is having a little party at his beach house and you have to go, you know Ruby will be there so it's a great way to show our circle that you have someone else in mind." Catherine says as she emits a nonchalant aura
"Hmm" he pauses deep in thought, "that might be a good idea, ok I'll invite her" he says with a childish grin.
Catherine shakes her head at her love sick brother before gently getting up, "alright then, I have to go. Mother ask me to come she has something she wants to talk about" dreading the meeting with her mother Catherine says with an annoyed tone
"Just be nice, she only wants what's best for you." James says trying to calm his sister. "I'll try, bye." She says then walks out the door.

Cindy who is currently staring at her friend, who is currently engrossed with reading a text on her phone with a faint smile on her face.
"What's on that phone of yours? That you have been ignoring me all week" Cindy pauses then continues, "oh wait, do you have a boyfriend? Is it that guy from your birthday night? Cindy says with anticipation in her eyes.
Katie smiles, gets up from her desk and walks towards her friend who is sitting on the sofa in her office; she stares at Cindy building the suspense.
