He thought to himself, “Hehe, on the surface, it looks like Zhao Yao was teaching me a lesson and had the upper hand. In fact, I was scolding him like mad, all this while, and he couldn’t even retort. Now you know how powerful I am, Zhao Yao.”
Shaking his head, Zhao Yao caressed Matcha’s head. “Don’t become stupid. I won’t hit you next time.”

Beside him, Kaede Hattori opened the car door and said, “We are here. Get out of the car.”
Zhao Yao followed Kaede Hattori and got out, walking up to a warehouse. He drew the curtains open and walked through rows of containers, stopping in front of a huge mirror deep in the warehouse.
Zhao Yao was puzzled by Kaede Hattori’s actions. He suddenly saw the mirror in front of him change and become a normal glass door, revealing a lift behind it.
Upon entering the lift, Kaede Hattori laughed at the shocked expression on Zhao Yao’s face, saying “This was originally the secret meeting place of the Public Security Police. After the supercats were awakened, this place became the research center for the Special Higher Police. At least one in five of all the supercats we collected across Japan are kept here.”
The lift quickly came to a stop. When the lift doors opened, a spacious underground research center appeared. Countless workers clad in white coats walked around busily. Some supercats could occasionally be seen casting their superpowers from their cages.
Of course, there were also a large number of apostles patrolling the research center.
“Let’s go, Mr. Yamada.” Kaede Hattori tilted his head and walked forward. “This research center is the core of our country’s most advanced and high-tech research. It is guarded by numerous apostles. If all the supercats here were released, this would definitely cause a huge commotion in society.”

Reward: Completing this mission completes 10% of the chain mission. The mission rewards are based on the completion rate of the whole chain of missions and include a vast amount of experience points, the Paralysis Ring, the Dragon Slaying Saber, activating a new ability and other great rewards.

Zhao Yao’s eyes glowed, “Paralysis Ring? Dragon Slaying Saber?” He felt the urge to throw the Book on the ground, “D*mn Book, are you kidding me? What kind of rewards are these?”
But thinking of the huge amount of experience points, Zhao Yao was still very interested in this mission. This was his first chain mission aside from the cat nation mission.
Sadly, after his fifth mission of the cat nation chain mission, once the cat population had reached 50, no more missions came after that. This had greatly disappointed Zhao Yao very as he lost a great avenue for earning experience points.
