The King of Death’s eyes flashed brilliantly. “It’s settled.”
He had ordered the movement of the puppets so as to bait Black Panther to his next teleportation point. He was also testing the maximum range of his teleportation.
Finally, he led Black Panther to a location with the least puppets which he had spread far apart. After Black Panther teleported, he withdrew the puppets to a safe distance, out of the maximum range of teleportation.
Once he realized the situation, Black Panther yelled, “Mentor, bad news, the puppets are not within range. I am unable to teleport.”
“No problem, we have traveled far enough.” Zhao Yao jumped down and surveyed the four distant figures that were speeding towards him. He opened his mouth and spat out Elizabeth, Ares, Lightning, and Roly Poly.
When Black Panther was teleporting at a high speed, Zhao Yao was unable to communicate with Black Panther telepathically and he was concerned that the cats he spat out would be lost along the way, so he resorted to countering the attacks with his Deflective Field.
When Black Panther was no longer teleporting, Zhao Yao’s concern was no longer valid. He spat out the four cats who were all made invisible by Roly Poly while Ares hung onto Zhao Yao’s body.
Meanwhile, the Terminator team saw that Zhao Yao and Black Panther had stopped. Their eyes sparkled with surprise. “Not running anymore?”
“The King of Death has succeeded, they can’t escape.”
“Kill Black Panther first.”
“Do not kill Zhao Yao.”
The four men lost their sense of hearing, so they were unable to communicate. However, their thoughts were almost the same.
The black flames shrouding the four men exploded violently and the energy from their legs pounded the ground. Like four cannon shots, they hurtled towards Black Panther, totally disregarding Zhao Yao’s existence. Even if they had to endure the first strike from Zhao Yao, they were adamant about killing Black Panther first.
Moreover, after the short skirmish with Zhao Yao, they had roughly estimated the power of his attacks, which could be easily absorbed by their black flames.
Though the fiery black flames did not have heat and were unable to incinerate objects, they were able to absorb massive damage and use that energy to upgrade their powers. The greater the damage, the greater the improvement of their bodies, speed, and power.
As they rushed headlong into battle, Zhao Yao communicated via his consciousness, “Lightning, activate your power.”
Sparks flew from Lightning’s body and Zhao Yao activated Time Freeze. Grabbing the lightning with his hands, he advanced towards the four men.
When he was holding the lightning, the super static electricity caused Zhao Yao’s hair to stand on end as though each strand was on fire. There were no traces of discomfort on his face. “Humph, similar attacks have no effect on me.”
Zhao Yao had become immune to the effects of the super static electricity and he could disregard the dangerous discharge.
During the frozen time, Zhao Yao strolled to the front of the Terminator team and bashed them with lightning. After dealing with them, Zhao Yao intended to settle the problem of the feline girls.
He returned to his original position, grabbed Black Panther and the four cats, and walked towards Fu Mi.
When time resumed, the Terminator team screamed in agony, their hair stood on end like steel needles. Pain permeated their bodies, overwhelming them to the point where they howled and collapsed to the floor, unable to stand up.
With the damage done to their bodies, the black flames broke into a raging fire. Licks of black flames came out from their eyes, mouths, ears, and nostrils.
“What power is that?”
“This is no good. I am unable to move due to the pain!”
“I got it.” Terminator gritted his teeth, his hand travelled down his lower body and he yanked with all his might.
With a loud bellow of excruciating pain, he pounded his fist on the ground, causing an explosion that degenerated into a crater.

Meanwhile, on the lawn, the group of fighting feline girls felt a blurred image flash in front of them. A man appeared right before them.
“Who is that?”
“Brother?” Zhao Xue exclaimed, “Run brother! This place is dangerous!” Zhao Xue was anxious seeing Zhao Yao. Right now, feline girls were only a match for each other. Other apostles were unable to attack effectively and were easily defeated by the feline girls. This was not a fight for normal apostles.
With the exclamation by Zhao Xue, all feline girls instantly focused their attention on Zhao Yao.
The eleven feline girls from the House of Cats activated their psychokinesis in order to restrain Zhao Yao and use him as a hostage against Zhao Xue.
Meanwhile, Fu Mi and her companions countered with their psychokinesis to protect Zhao Yao.
The next instant, all the feline girls felt their psychokinesis smashing into a great wall, unable to penetrate a five-meter radius around Zhao Yao.
The feline girls from the House of Cats were puzzled. “What happened?”
Another feline girl hollered, “Is this guy able to fend off our psychokinesis?”
“What situation is this? Where is everybody?” Zhao Yao frowned as he could not hear their breathing and heartbeats. However, he felt the invisible attacks on Ares’ Deflective Field.
Fu Mi and her companions are in their ethereal forms. What is the issue with the House of Cats?”
Sphynx cat had not explained the details of the situation on the cell phone. Since he was not able to figure out the situation clearly, Zhao Yao decided to let Ares maintain the Deflective Field and he himself would protect Black Panther.
“Black Panther, get ready to come in.”
The feline girls watched Zhao Yao open his mouth and a swirling vortex sucked Black Panther into Zhao Yao’s belly.
“Cannibal!?”
Everyone was shocked by what they had seen. At the same time, Sphynx cat knelt in a shrub near to Zhao Yao and privately communicated to him, “Zhao Yao, Zhao Xue, and her companions are now in an ethereal form. As for the feline girls from the House of Cats, according to my observation, they may be in gaseous form.”
“Gaseous form? Zhao Yao was taken aback.
Sphynx cat nodded his head. He had been observing using his superior insight ability. He could detect the abnormal flow of the air currents, as though there was a life force circulating on the lawn and within the house.
While the feline girls were still in shock and Zhao Yao was contemplating the situation, a ferocious bellow rang from behind the wall.
“Zhao Yao!!”
The wall was blasted into smithereens and four black infernos rushed in, gazing intensely at Zhao Yao. They were the Terminator team.
Their ears, mouths, eyes, and nostrils spat out streams of Dark Scorch. Their entire bodies were covered by the Dark Scorch as well. Their faces were horribly distorted and their pain caused them to periodically inhale cool air. Their gazes towards Zhao Yao were filled with deep hatred.
Zhao Yao turned his head and was astonished by what he saw. “You are able to endure my attack? You have earned my respect.”
Meanwhile, the four men bellowed and their bodies created four streams of airwaves while they sprinted in front of Zhao Yao. Like gigantic steel claws, four pairs of gigantic hands grabbed onto Zhao Yao.
