Xiao Qing'er neared Shen Tian and pouted,"You didn't even let me kill one of them at the least! You are so mean sometimes…" She made an angry expression, which Shen Tian ignored," This is not something a child like you is supposed to witness. I apologize." He made a comment on her age, making a vein pop out from her forehead.
"What did you call me?! YOUNG?!" Xiao Qing's head neared Shen Tian, showing her anger visibly, but the boy was not affected at all. " You prefer for me to call you old? I mean that's a weird hobby but if you want me to… Who am I to say no." Shen Tian responded with a calm expression on his face.
"Ye- That's not what I mean!" Xiao Qing'er growled, but decided to ignore Shen Tian. " You are not worth my time to talk to… You bully!" She said as she walked away, to check if there was anything interesting in the Interspatial Rings of the bodyguards and Zhu Ruo herself, she might find something which would remove her boredom for a while at the very least… Hopefully.

Xiao Ning'er took several breaths. The memories of another life were starting to surface yet again in her mind. In most of those, Nie Li appeared several times. This made no sense for her. She loved Shen Tian, she loved him dearly, he was the one who had helped her as much as he could do for her possibly!
She felt overjoyed when Nie Li had woken up , after several weeks of continuous sleep. She and the others had no idea what had happened to him, at one moment they were at the ruins of the Desert Palace, and at another moment Nie Li had fainted, falling unconscious before any of them could react.
Biting her lower lips, she shook her head. She had to remove such thoughts from her mind! She had finally made the final breakthrough to the first fate soul of the Heavenly Fate Realm, so she had to focus on stabilizing her foundation and making it solid so she could easily make future breakthroughs.
She decided to take a walk around the city to remove such thoughts from her head. The wind was refreshing, and she let her beautiful and silky orange hair freely wave in the air. It was a comfortable feeling, and made it easier for her to think about what had been happening recently in her life.
"Did you hear?! The savior of the city, Nie Li recently awoke! I'm so glad… He saved us from the claws of those Demon Beasts, just remembering that makes me shiver. I'm so glad no one from my family died in that battle." Xiao Ning'er started to hear the murmurs of different people while she walked on the streets.
"Mhm, just making me remember that I actually once idolized that boy Shen Tian. Where was he when we needed him the most?! I bet he ran off, not actually caring about Glory City at all. He's the same as the rest of the Sacred Family. He is as shameless as them, and also a big coward just like his family!" Her hands formed fists, and blood dripped downwards, from the enormous power she was putting behind her grip.
"Fool… You can speak whatever you want; but know the limits. Seriously, Shen Tian might have not been here when we needed him the most, but I remember my father telling me that he left towards the Dark Ruins, just after returning from that place called the Nine Layered Deathlands. This is his second trip there. It's clear he is trying to discover something for the city to remember him for." Another one tried to persuade himself that Shen Tian was not as bad as people were making him be.
Xiao Ning'er felt her expression go dark. "Meh. He probably found out about some treasure room in the Dark Ruins. In the first place, he was only seven or eight when he suggested to the City Lord about the Scout Division, he probably had ulterior motives behind the ones he gave the City Lord." Another one said. They truly had no faith in the person who had saved them. The person, who had saved hundreds of thousand through his advanced ideas.
She knew that Shen Tian did not really care about what others thought of him, but this truly was taking it to another level. He had sacrificed twelve to thirteen years of his life for the city; only to get repaid like this. It showed just how ugly people could get to, just to make their heroes reach a higher place in the hearts of others. She could only silently endure the pain she felt and sigh. She wanted to go and beat the ones who were slandering her lover and soon to be husband, but it was not worth it.

She didn't want to hear what the others had to say anymore, yet she didn't have the focus to go as fast as she could actually go, it was going haywire, her emotions were wildly expressing themselves on her face.
She reached a corner of the city, covered in nature. There was no one to disturb her here. She took a breath as she sat down on the grass. She gathered her feet and hands together, putting her head in between her limbs. Tears which had dried off, started to wildly fall from her eyes once again.
"Where are you...Shen Tian. I miss you." She muttered.
