"My dear Lily, where on Earth are we currently?" The girl said asked with closed eyes, recovering.
"We're in London..."Lily gasped in surprise when Phoenix mentioned Earth, she asked: "Wait how did you-"... Phoenix cut her saying calmly: "The furniture of the room; the style of Humans from Earth is unique, besides I've already came to the Earth before, so I'm familiar with it."
The nonchalant tone Phoenix used amazed Lily; 'Common sense in her world must be different, or she is just clueless about social interactions...' thought Lily to herself , not noticing the mouth twitch that Phoenix just had. Waving her hand Lily found herself outside
the room where Phoenix was resting: "I need to rest, don't bother with me; as you know my common sense is different from yours!"
Silence...
Lily stood foolishly for a long while staring at the door; she kept muttering all along as an hour passed before she turned around heading to her room: "She can read thoughts..."
The next morning, Lily was preparing herself when she heard a scream coming from the living room. Hurrying there, she faced yet another unexpected scene; Phoenix sobbing while holding a portrait. The portrait was monochromatic depicting a Lady in her forties, gentle smile illuminating her face, which shared similarities with Lily.
Phoenix felt Lily's presence, she wiped her tears and asked: "Who is Grace Hoggwart to you?"
Lily shivered vigorously; her emotions were dismal when she heard the name, she teared up and answered; her tone contained deep anguish: " I'm her granddaughter, she died five years ago..." tears fell from Lily's eyes as she said this.
Nodding in understanding, Phoenix expression turned serious: "Lily Hoggwart, considering the fact that your little Grace granddaughter, I'll help you acquire unparalleled powers! But before that, I want you to listen to my story."

Phoenix placed the portrait on the chimney where it had always been; she and Lily sat on the sofa, a myriad of emotions flashed through Phoenix face as she started her story.
"I was born long ago, so long that I can't remember how many centuries I lived. At first I was alone on the huge continent; I erred the land for years, with an objective in mind since birth, which is to train. The years passed and slowly the land was getting filled with people, cities were built, others were raised; civilisations were born, others were extinguished. During my trips I visited each one of them, I gained knowledge and wisdom throughout the years; I also witnessed the Human behavior. For most, satisfying their desires was what mattered the most. But I also got to know people who were kind and gentle. During my visits there, I influenced many of the countries and empires."
Phoenix expression displayed a mix of happiness and sorrow: "Two thousand years ago, I got entangled with some problems which I solved with a lot of difficulties; and little Grace was determinant in the matter, because without her I might have died. After that incident, I found out that during my long existence, I had no friends, little Grace was the first. I used every excuse that people can think of to spend my time together with her; we were inseparable. I settled in her hometown and stormed the continent, warning all the major factions at that time to avoid that city, and all heeded my words. The only reason for that is because strength mean everything in that world, and no one was stronger than me there; that was even before they Human's appearance."
Lily was confused and asked: "If you were that powerful, how did you ended up in trouble?"
Phoenix made a wry smile answering embarrassed: "I will tell you about it later, okay? Anyway, three hundred years ago, she told that she wished to come here on Earth; after a long discussion, I yielded to her wishes. At least i couldn't be worried for her safety as she was powerful enough to not be in danger in any way..."
"Then again, Lily, I am very sorry because I couldn't be present when she died... She hid herself from me. As I lost contact with her years ago, and judging your age I finally understand why!" Lily was even more confused hearing.
She fell deep in thought trying to remember something linking Phoenix's words and her grandmother's behavior; suddenly an event came to her and her eyes widened unable to believe this fact, at last she said: "Grandma used to tell me stories about those worlds, and some of the books she read to me were written by her, and for some reason I found that they were genuine fact and not some fantasy although I couldn't explain why! Seven years ago because she fell very ill, she couldn't do much things as she was bedridden, she told me her last story. It was about her only friend, she said that they met in a predicament; and the fact that years after they separated, when she started the company, it was because it will help her find something, but she refused to tell me what it was, only that she found it; also that her friend will eventually show up in front of me."
"Two years later, the day she died, her last words said that her friend will appear out of nowhere and handed a box to me saying to give it to her when they meet. And according to your side of the story I can guess that you are the friend my grandma spoke of; except that she said her friend has a black lotus tattoo on her back. If you are really who you claim to be, then prove it!" at this point tears started falling from Lily's eyes again.
Phoenix nodded and her back faced Lily, she loosened her dress and the black lotus tattoo was clear in front Lily's eyes. Wearing it again she faced Lily and spoke gently, like she didn't want to frighten with her words: "I finally understand the whole situation, and if I'm not wrong the box content will confirm my suspicions; please go bring it. Lily went to out of the living room and returned a few moments later carrying the box; It was red in color, made in wood and with the exact same black lotus printed on the lid.
Phoenix took and asked: "I bet you tried to open it right?" Lily nodded albeit her embarrassment from being discovered. Then a white light enveloped the box which made a click sound a few second later. opening it, the first thing she saw was a note, on it were the following words: 'Lily is a also a Black Lotus, Phoenix please take care of her!'
