I walked forward while scanning the crowd. There are a lot of students here since it's close to the campus. I can also see students from other schools here,it seems like this is a popular hangout place for students. My head ached, how can a very popular person set a crowded place as the meet up place for a shady deal? Is he not afraid to be seen together with a very beautiful girl like me and get misunderstood by his loyal followers? I pinched the crease forming between my brows. How can he be this carefree?
When I see him I will not throw a pokeball at him, I will throw daggers at him instead. I have no intention in taming him so he better go back to the wild where he came from and not disturb my peaceful life. The place is indeed crowded but surprisingly it isn't noisy. The students here are either chatting quietly or studying. Some must have recognized me because they are openly staring at me. Like a display in the museum, they gave me questioning looks. They must be curious why I am here and standing even though there are still vacant tables. I maintained my calm demeanor, I was about to choose a seat to settle in when I felt a piercing gaze coming from above.
It looks like the devil found me first. I looked up but the cold stare was gone. So there's a second floor, I didn't see this when I entered because it can only be noticed if you are standing in the middle of the first floor. I again scanned the area and saw a stair in the corner leading to the second floor.
I turned to walk towards the stairs. Not minding the weird looks the other students are giving me. What?! Is this the first time you have seen a pretty girl climb up the stairs? When I reached the bottom of the stairs and was about to step up, I was forcefully pulled back. I almost fell to the ground, thankfully I managed to regain my balance just in time.
What now?!! I angrily turned towards the person who pulled me. I saw a girl wearing my school's uniform glaring at me like I was the one at fault. I recognize this person, Irene's younger sister. Her name is Veronica. They really are sisters, troublesome bunch.
"What do you think you are doing?" she barked at me like a dog defending its territory.
"Climbing up the stairs,obviously. Do you really have to be this harsh?" I said to her.
She looked at me like I am the stupidest person in the world. "The second floor is off access. You cannot go up there. Only Master Neo and his friends can go there."
"Oh..." I nodded my head with understanding, I then again walked toward the stairs and took a step up.
"Hey! Didn't you hear what I said? Are you really that stupid?" she said this and was about to grab my arm when I turned around to look at her with cold fiery eyes. She stopped her hand in mid air, she stood there frozen. I saw in the corner of my eyes how bewildered the other students are.
I looked down at Veronica and said icily "Don't ever touch me again!! Unless you want to say goodbye to those pretty hands of yours!"
I again walked upstairs and didn't look back. This is very irritating! I haven't even met the devil yet but his minions are already this vexatious! I stormed up the stairs not minding the commotion downstairs.
When I reached the second floor , I instantly saw the figure I have been wanting to slice this whole afternoon.
