My expression didn't change. I can see that some of the girls in my class were trying to suppress themselves from laughing out loud. I internally calmed myself, after studying the words on top of my desk I then turned to face my classmates and said in a clear calm voice "Tell me who should I thank for this master piece? I can see that time and effort were spent in creating such a work of art. I am forever thankful to receive such gift." I smiled at them brightly, showing my precious dimples.
The room was engulfed in awkward silence. With a smiling face I said to them "Oh my, is it a secret admirer? Hmm... What should I do? I really don't intend to date-"
I was not able to finish what I was saying because I was interrupted by a loud boisterous laugh. I turned my head in the direction of the one laughing, she was seated behind Alyssa. A girl with short red hair and a slightly tanned complexion, she is currently clutching her stomach. I can see that she is trying to control her laughter, majority of the girls in the room were tittering in their seats while the boys were either staring at their phones or quietly observing the scene.
I didn't say anything, I stood beside my chair and patiently waited for the girl to control her self. Did she really come from a rich family? Our maids are more modest and proper than her. -_- She really needs to learn proper etiquette.
"Are you stupid or what? Do you really think that trashing your desk is a form of master piece? Secret admirers? Really? Having a few number of boys confess to you must have deluded your brain." the girl again laughed her lungs out, this time the others didn't bother in suppressing their laughter as they joined in spouting insulting words about me.
"Those boys were just attracted with her looks. I'm pretty sure that after playing with her they would have left her out in the cold." said another girl who seems to be good friends with the red head.
I looked at them with a bored expression on my face. I moved towards the window and casually leaned against it. Our classroom is located on the second floor of this building and you can see the people entering the SBC building through this window. Coincidentally, when I glanced down I saw three familiar figures enter the building. Secretly a mischievous smile formed on my lips as my brain again worked like a bullet train.
I composed myself and with an indifferent expression on my face I turned to stare at the red head girl. "Are you done?" I said to her.
The girl seemed annoyed at my reaction, her face is now red and ready to explode. She stood up and pointed her index finger at me. "Listen here you witch! You are nothing but a parasite who is leeching off on the Tan family. You don't even have the right to stay here and breath the same air as us! Why don't you just back off in the corner and stay there. Don't cause trouble just so you can get the attention of the young masters of influential families."
Alyssa then stood up and came to coax her friend into calming down. "Trix, calm down. Elrae didn't do anything--"
Oh... That's right, the red head girl usually hangs out with Alyssa. I am not on good terms with my classmates so I didn't bother memorizing their names. I know I am a bad girl I won't deny that, but I also don't want to act like a saint that I am not in front of this spoiled brats. The girl named Trix turned her head towards Alyssa and spitefully told her "Aly! Don't even think about defending that witch! She don't deserve your kindness!"
Alyssa turned pale and worry is very evident in her face. "But--"
Alyssa was not able to finish what she was about to say because she was cut off by my laughter. Everyone turned their heads towards my direction. I wiped the tears that formed in the corner of my eye with my slender index finger. "I never thought that a little lamb will try to defend a big bad wolf like me against the angry mob." I said with a wide grin on my face.
Alyssa blushed when she heard what I said. Trix then said "You really are something. You are the most arrogant person I have ever met. Do you really think that Master Neo and Master Vincent will stay in the dark about your true colors? They will eventually find out and they will only feel disgust every time they see you."
I chuckled when I heard her words. "Oh, dear... I am the most arrogant person you have ever met?" I mockingly laughed at her words. "Then you still haven't met the true devil yet. I do rank myself only in third place when it comes to arrogance dear."
The room was then filled with murmurs and indistinct conversations. Everyone have an opinion of their own. Trix was about to say something but a warm clear voice suddenly sounded in the entry way making everyone turn their heads towards the doorway of the room.
"How nice. This class seems a bit lively this early in the morning." a clear warm voice said.
A small smile then formed on my lips when I saw the new arrivals.
The girls attitude then turned 180 degrees. Before they were like an angry fox making a fuss but now they turned into a well tamed cat sweetly smiling at the good looking gentlemen by the door way. I shook my head in disgust.
Well I can't blame them for being like this. They can't just show their ugly sides in front of such heavenly creatures anyway. The one who spoke before is the well loved and respected President of the student council Kyle Yu. While the other 'gentleman' is the schools heartthrob Vincent Gu. I can also see a familiar figure behind them. It is no other than the Science and Business Curriculum's Representative, the handsome nerd Xander Yap. Xander Yap is the pride of the SBC because he is literally a living genius. Wow! What a coincidence for such royalties to gather in a place like this at just the right time. Hmmm.. It will be such a waste if I don't use this opportunity, right? It's all about timing.
