"You're hot--" I blurted out as I felt his skin over mine.
"Hmmm.. I know." Neo groggily said.
"No.. I mean you're really hot. Like literally hot!! You're burning up!! You have a fever!" I exclaimed. He is still wearing his wet clothes resulting on my clothes getting wet as well. I can feel his high temperature as his neck and the side of his head rest on top of my thigh.
"Hmmm" he mumbled, I'm not even sure if he understood what I just said. He finally let go of my right arm and pushed himself up using both of his hands but it seems like he doesn't have enough strength. After a few trials and failures, he gave up and nestled himself on my lap.
If I am an animated character then I think my whole body would have turned red by now, from my toe to the roots of my hair and I don't even know if it's because of anger or embarrassment.
I face palmed myself and said "Hey, I just pushed you into the water minutes ago. How in the world did you suddenly get a high fever?!"
I tried pushing Neo away from me but he won't budge one bit. Did this guy ate rocks or something?
"I was not feeling well since this morning." Neo weakly said. His eyes are closed and his face is extremely pale at the moment. Even though he still looks handsome right now, I still don't like what I am seeing. The Yuan clan will torture me if Neo catches a serious illness due to me pushing him into the water earlier.
"Since you are not feeling well, then you should have gone home or straight to the infirmary!" I scolded him as I placed my left palm over his forehead but retracted it in seconds. Ouch! I internally screamed as I felt his forehead. Oh no! He is seriously burning up!

Does this place looks like a medical center for the sick? Or is he waiting for a magical fairy to appear out of nowhere to cure him? I gritted my teeth and told myself to calm down. First things first, I need to get him to the hospital before he starts hallucinating because of his high temperature.
"Can you try standing up again? You need to go to the hospital." I said to him in a calm steady voice.
I heard him groan and unsteadily tried to push himself up. After two tries he finally was able to sit down but due to his weak state he ended up leaning on me. Ugh... Why is it getting worst and worst? He's heavy! (T.T)
"I don't need to go to the hospital. It will only garner unnecessary attention from the public. Bring me to my apartment instead." Neo said in a weak but commanding tone of voice.
"I'm bringing you to the hospital." I sternly said to him. I slowly stood up. I made sure that the stubborn patient leaning on me won't fall on his back because it will surely be hard to lift him back up again.
"If you bring me to the hospital then people will find out about you aggressively pushing a sick young master in to the water." Neo said this as I helped him stand up. He then weakly chuckled when he felt my body become stiff.
"My apartment is only a few minutes walk away from here. It's closer if we go through that gate." He said as he pointed to a small green gate almost hidden by weeds and bushes. A few trees is also blocking it, making it unnoticed by passerbys.
"It's just a few minutes away if we are both able and healthy but with your situation right now, that few minutes will certainly change into an hour. My back would have already broke by the time we arrived there." I said to him as a matter of fact.
"Just take me there instead of the hospital. I also need to change my clothes anyway." He continued as he lean closer to me. Not listening one bit to my sound and logical explanation.
Ugh, what should I do? It is true that many people will slander me if they find out about me pushing Neo into the water. Even though I have a very good reason to do so, the society will only listen to the more juicy and interesting gossip rather than the truth.
I internally sighed and finally decided, "Once we get there, call your family doctor immediately. I don't want this as an excuse for you to hunt me in the future." I said to him as we staggeringly walk towards the gate. Good thing he is only a head taller than me. If I have been shorter then I would have ended up dragging his body instead, though that is also not a bad idea. *evil laugh*

I'm surprised to know that such a gate exist in the school. Once you exit using this gate, you can immediately see an alleyway directed towards the busy street. Neo feebly directed me where we should go and within a couple of minutes of agony he finally said "we're here" in a exhausted and weak tone of voice. We only went through the alley way so I am sure that no one saw us stumbling about on our way here.
With his right hand over my shoulders and my left hand snaked around his waist for support we finally were able to reach our destination. Seriously, I would have never imagined that one day I will be in such an embarrassingly intimate situation with the devil. If only Mr. Shin is allowed to enter the school premises aside from the parking area then I had already called for his help ages ago.
