The general's eyes bulged fearfully and he subconsciously stepped back as it was the first time that the king was so mad at him, even if his only intention was to help.
Since the shot was already fired, Long Kael's body moved on its own accord, he partially shifted, jumped where the bullets were supposed to hit. His scaled body was hit by the bullets as his eyes glared murderously at his general like he badly wanted to snap the other shifter's neck.
Long Kael then ordered loudly, "Do not do anything more without my further orders. Prepare the soldiers for the beasts instead!"
The general could only nod in respect and agreement, despite wanting to badly complain.
While Long Kael was being a knight in the shining armor, Mo Rin was not even aware of what was happening, as her back was still facing Long Kael. She only wanted to get away from them as soon as possible.
Mo Rin concentrated on her magic to remove the electrical chain from her body. She was not expecting much but, it was better than nothing.
Thankful unlike what happened to the seal this time, Mo Rin was successful in removing the chain.
