Though we are still waiting for the autopsy report, there were no grounds for the witness to kill her own partner. As a mage yourself, we also could not remove the possibility that an autopsy could be manipulated. We are waiting for a mage that could be as strong as you to rule that out."
"Right now, all the pieces of evidence are pointing right at you and to save your life, we are giving you the chance to confess and plead guilty. At most, your penalty will be two hundred years in prison. We will allow you to have a mating ceremony with Prince Cheng to extend your life if you are really his mate." Han Wei added.

"I also do not want to lose my head. So let's do it this way, either you let me go to the trial since that is the right thing to do or set me free since I did not kill your comrade." Lu Meili offered casually with a wave of her hand.
