"Is it not enough that we do not know anything regarding the woman?" Long Kael added before laughing out loud. He did not look happy at all. He was mocking the elders with that way he responded and they know it.

In truth, it was not supposed to be a big issue. His request was also logical. These elders just needed to wait for the report and all should be arranged accordingly.

Yet, they were all making a fuss as if he, as a king was not acting right. Are they trying to prove him something? Long Kael had no idea.

Anyone should fear the unknown and he hoped his elders would do so as well.

However, with the look on the elders' faces, they seemed to not really care what would happen if something went wrong during the trial.

'I should probably get our country an ambassador, a proper one soon…' He thought tiredly. Long Kael at this time would have never known that his decision would help him greatly in the near future.

It was just recently that their Shou planet opened its doors to neighboring planets and far beyond for visiting.

Not only for trading resources but to also make sure that there were opportunities for the citizens to grow, which humans call innovation.

The leaders from all countries also want this as a way to show that they wanted peace and they were willing to do anything to avoid any conflicts.

Also, there were benefits from having advance planets support. By doing so, advance technology slowly was used as well in their planet. They were still left behind by so many years but what they had was a great improvement.

Offices and stores were set up in the planet too slowly allowing easier access to resources without the need for leaving the planet.

Those that do not have been mateless were giving more freedom to roam beyond Shou planet and look for their destined.

If it happened sooner probably Long Kael did not need to pressure himself to choose a half mate.

Regardless, The culture and history should be respected, but everyone should also accept the fact that even if they were only in their country, there were already rules that need to be considered, especially when outsiders from the other planets were involved.

Dragons were scarce and were hunted down before, despite them being the superior one compared to the human-like beings in all quadrants.

Why did this happen? Because they were not prepared and proper rules were not set yet. This allowed anyone to capture those ignorant beast shifters to fall prey in their supposed prey's trap.

Regardless of what he said, the elders were just looking at the issue at hand like there was no life at stake and there was no possibility of conflicts with other planets or the other organizations that they might not even be aware of. Long Kael could not just risk it.

"Your Majesty, please think first of your people. The soldier Rusan's mate was demanding for the prisoner's head as soon as possible. We all believe that there is no use in wasting time." One of the elders uttered softly. It was a grave crime to kill someone.

There would be fairer treatment though if the offender was also a dragon shifter.

"Fine! Let us do it the way you want. However, if Long Cheng and the people that woman is connected to demands fair justice, you all will be accountable for it!" Long Kael declared challengingly. He was the king but there were things that he could not just ask demandingly.

Sometimes it was best to let the arrogant beings cook themselves from their oil of sins, just like this one. So among the beings that were in front of him, who was brave enough to stand up for their recent demands?

After Long Kael had said that, he received silence.

All the elders were not speaking at all as they looked at him with surprise and some with confusion.

The elders even looked at each other before someone asked, "Accountable for what exactly?"

"Why are you asking me? I know nothing!" Long Kael answered mockingly. If he was not talking to elders, the throne would have been bloody since earlier.

He paused for a moment, "Why not ask the visitors instead regarding the rules of the space?" He asked pointing out at Wu Jiao and her group who was waiting patiently.

Long Kael believed that as they were part of the biggest space cruise that travels a lot they should be the best people to deal with regarding this matter.

Wu Jiao surprised when she called out. She was casually still leaning on the wall next to the throne door with Dex, while Li Mei was crouched on the floor as if watching intently for something.

The elders looked at them, specifically at Wu Jiao. She returned their gaze with a raised brow. "I don't mind answering as long as it's not human Math." Wu Jiao offered with a shrug of her shoulders.

Wu Jiao was curious to the outcome more than how it happened. She did not care how it happened. No one really wanted to listen to old beings that pretend to be all knowing.

For her, the elders at that moment was acting like, black was white while their eyes are covered by thin red cloth. It was stupid but hilarious.

"Manager Wu, our king is giving us a hint on something that we might be missing out. Please enlighten us and we will greatly appreciate it." Han Wei being the leader said seriously, but with a raised chin as if challenging Wu Jiao to oppose them or for her to mind her own business.

Wu Jiao smile respectfully before she tried to explain, "I am sorry, Your Majesty. I don't think I am the right person to talk to regarding this issue-"

"So you think if someone from another planet had broken our law, we could deal with it internally, however, we pleased?" Long Kael clarified unhappily while he looked down at her.

"Ah! That is not what I meant, Your Majesty!" She hurriedly said as she raised her hands in surrender, "Please do not get me wrong. I am really not in a position to interpret a king's way of things. If you want me to tell you the possible impact of this to us businessmen I don't mind explaining." Wu Jiao explained, looking for the elders whose expression turned confused.

"Please do explain." Han Wei finally asked, but he was having a bad feeling about this while looking at Wu Jiao's face.

"We are businessmen. It is always best to side at the party that would give us more profit. We do not care about the politics of any country. What we care about is if it is safe and worth it to continue trading there." Wu Jiao started to explain.
