"It should be under a Pang Xiaoting."
The attendant looked through the screen of white square device.
"Reservation for Pang Xiaoting, please follow me."
Sheng Liena followed the woman to a table by the far end of the restaurant that was facing the window. When she got close to the table, the woman curtsied to her and said, "Enjoy your evening Miss."
The man was backing the direction from which Sheng Liena came from and therefore did not know that she had arrived.
"Good evening, I'm sorry for being late. I'm Sheng Liena."
"Good evening, I'm Pang Xiaoting. It's okay you already explained on the phone to me."
The two stood to exchange greetings while looking at each other as though checking the other out to see if there would be a likelihood for a second date. After which they took a seat across each other.
"I see you ordered already."
Sheng Liena saw that the man had a plate of food in front of him and a half full glass of red wine. She didn't know why the thought of him ordering before she arrived bothered her so much, probably because if the situation had been reversed she would have called her date if they were running late and waited for them to arrive before ordering together.
"Yes, since I knew you were stuck in traffic and may not get here on time, rather than waiting with nothing else to do, I went ahead to have them send for my food."

"Excuse me!"
Sheng Liena waved to one of the attendants while calling out to them, who began walking towards their table.
"Yes Miss?"
"Can I have what he is having?"
"Yes Miss, we would have it ready for you in no time."
The woman curtsied to Sheng Liena before walking away from the table to get her order.
"What do you do for a living?"
"I work in the lab."
Sehng Liena was already disappointed and angry by her blind date's attitude, that she chose to downplay her position at the company where she worked.
"You are not going to keep on working after you get married, right?"
The man although not good looking, he looks was passable at the most. He waited for his date to agree with him, but silence met his question.
"You are not going to be a stay home mom?!"
The look of incredulity was on the face of the man, as he stared at his date as if she had grown two heads.
"No! I will keep working even after I am married."
"How old are you by the way?"
"Why do you want to know my age?!"
"You keep asking me all sort of questions! You didn't even wait for my food to arrive! What type of human being are you!"
"I'm asking you a question, answer me!"
"This is insane! I'm leaving, the date is off! Bye!"
Sheng Liena stood up from her seat and was about to take the first step forward when her date grab her by the hand.
"You are not going anywhere!"
