During the time the police dismissed the press, they overheard some mention that a white truck sped pass them on their way in, not wanting to give up any clues that will help in their investigation, four officers ran after them, to ask what they meant, since they didn't say anything to the police, but was focused on shooting the ghastly accident scene and its victims.
Those that recalled what the truck looked like, during the brief glimpse they had of it, spoke and gave description to the police, none could recall who drove it or the name plate of the vehicle.
Minutes passed as the interrogation continued, the officers asked for the business cards of the ones that gave an account of what they had seen, until finally they were released to go their way.
The officers then ran back to their colleagues to share the information that they got, which seem to align with streaks of white paint that forensic got from the body of the cab. Right there an alert was issued out for the public to be on a look out for a white truck with a sketch to go along with it.

A pale young man lay on a metal table, covered in blue surgical gown and cap, he was surrounded by a handful of people also dressing in similar clothing. At the background soft music was playing, with voices singing to the lyrics and dancing to the song.
"Dr. Zhu this guy is so hot, I don't think his married, I would totally go for him."
Everyone bursted into a raucous laugh, when they heard what the nurse said, who looked to be in her twenties.
"How are you so sure, nowadays you can never tell who is and who isn't. The trend that is going on, is wedding bands are no longer a thing and many couples are doing away with them."
Dr. Zhu a good looking man in his late twenties spoke in general as to what he thought of the nurse's assumption.
Unlike the other operating room that was not as lively, with everyone doing what they had been assigned to, leaving little or no room for jokes or talks amongst them.
"Don't you have a boyfriend? Why are you eyeing another man? Not satisfying you or what?"
This time a fellow nurse who happened to be the scrub nurse, entered the conversation, also of similar age with the other nurse.
"You know how it goes, the fact I'm in a relationship doesn't mean I'll end up marrying the guy that I'm with, just going to go with the flow and see where life takes me."
Another round of laughter ensued, before Dr. Zhu cut in, "How about me, don't you think I'm a good catch?"
The moment he said that, the rest of them rolled their eyes to discredit what he said, they all knew he was the dine and dash type, not maintaining his relationships, if not for the hospital policy that said no dating other employees, they all knew he would have gone through all the female staff in the hospital, not that some thought he kept to the rules.
"The nurse that prepared him for surgery said he had on Montelli's, isn't that a big name clothing brand based in the States?"
The moment the circulating nurse said so, they all gasped in surprise, knowing that only those that were well off shopped the brand.
This time Dr Zhu took a closer look at Lu Yi, he also had a surprised look like the rest. One should never judge a book by the cover, in this case he did so, not knowing that the patient he was handling was loaded.
Nurse Li continued her gist, "A little birdie told me that he was in the same accident as the heiress of Zhang Corporation. You all know who am talking about right?"
This time, their eyes widened in anticipation of what the nurse was going to say next. During the briefing, they weren't told that Lu Yi was in a crash with someone else. That part was purposely left out, to prevent speculations by the surgical team that would be carrying out his surgery.

The Anesthesiologist chipped in, he was a man in his forties of average height and a little over weight. As though the nurse didn't hear what Dr. Shi said, going on to let the rest know of what she thought whether true or not.
"What do you think? The former President of Zhang Corporation in the same car as someone that wears designer goods? Do the math?"
Nurse Tan laughed as she spoke, prompting the rest of them to laugh along.
"It makes sense, even though she just got out of jail, that doesn't mean that she wouldn't have men lining up for her, see what money and a powerful name can do!"
The first assist spoke, as all eyes turned to her when she said that, Dr Jin was the only married woman in the team, the rest were either single or in the process of getting married themselves. The group continued their gossip well into the surgery, not minding if the patient they were operating on was listening passively to their conversation.
