The "body" belonging to the heiress of Zhang Corporation- Zhang Mi was wheeled from the operating room to the corridor outside the surgical floor. The team assigned to the heiress surgery stood around the covered "body" in white linen, following instructions to the last, none cried while looking downcast. Yang Lin also stood outside with them, by then Guo Ru was tying the loose ends on his side, before leaving with the medical team, Yang Lin took down the monitor and other things that will give him away, emptying his pockets, save his phone which he deleted the number Guo Ru use to call him, he took the contents and shoved some of them into the back of the men's toilet and the water resistant ones he took off the ceramic cover of the water flush system of the toilet and had them stored there, until his mission was finalized.
No sooner had the "body" been out, Zhang Tianyu and his men walked in, he saw the sheet that covered the bed and what appeared to be a person underneath. The staff were about to greet him when they saw him getting close to where they stood. Although, he knew what it meant, the President of Zhang Tianyu could not help asking, "Is that my niece? Is that Mi lying over there?!"
The tone of Zhang Tianyu was one of absolute disbelief, the aide that stood by him had a strange look on his face, he couldn't tell if the trembling hands of Zhang Tianyu was a show of pretense or he was actually coming to terms that his niece may have passed away.
"We are so sorry, but Miss Zhang passed away at 2:18 pm from complications, we tried our best to control the bleeding, but there was...."
The President of Zhang Corporation impatiently cut off what Dr Wang was saying.
"What happened?! How did she die?! Wasn't there anything that could have been done to save her?! This is unacceptable! Unacceptable! Where is your medical director? How could they have assigned someone so young to look after the only niece I have?! Get me the Chief Medical Director, before I have this hospital closed down?!"
Dr Wang visible flinched from the sting of Zhang Tianyu's words to him, he no longer knew who to believe among them, that had the best interest of the Zhang heiress. Was it the men that laid siege at his surgery or the man that showed much fury that the heiress had passed away. He wasn't the only one that felt that way, the rest of his team had identical expression of conflict regarding who was in the best interest of Zhang Mi.
"That would be Dr. He but he is due to be back later this evening from a conference an hour away."
Extreme dissatisfaction at the reply of Dr Wang showed on the face of Zhang Tianyu, he motioned for Gao Yifeng to lift the line from the bed. Leaving the side of the President of Zhang Corporation, Gao Yifeng went to do as told, taking off the white line stained with blood to expose the pale face belonging to the "deceased" heiress of Zhang Corporation. Zhang Tianyu drew closer, covering the space from where he previously stood to the bed that supposedly held the "body" of his niece. The stench of blood hit him strong in the face, causing him to stagger backwards at the assault to his senses. Although, he saw some of them had red eyes possibly from crying, he didn't allow that to distract him from checking if his niece was actually "dead", when he had satisfied his curiosity to the fullest he asked that his aide pull the linen back to cover the "body" of his niece. He left there to put some distance between himself and is now "deceased" niece, while his aide followed closely behind.
"Yang Lin is this how you serve Mi? You couldn't inform me of the state she was in the moment you knew?!"
Getting down on his knees, right in front for everyone, without any shame whatsoever, Yang Lin gave his reply to the President of Zhang Corporation, "The trust you had in me was broken, even if I told you that she was already dead, there is no way you will not want to check if I was speaking the truth, that was why I had to ask them to being her body out, the dead certificate has not been signed yet."
Yang Lin had known Zhang Tianyu for many years and there was no way the man would simply believe everything he was told, especially from the mouth of a "son" who betrayed him of recent.

Yang Lin got up from where he knelt behind the first assist who was by the side of the bed, at the head was Dr Wang, the Anesthesiologist stood by the foot of the bed, while the scrub nurse stood directly opposite from the first assist, in the direction of Zhang Tianyu and his entourage. When Yang Lin heard the order that the President of Zhang Corporation gave, he left where he was backing the surgical unit, to move to meet the other man.
Gao Yifeng was a tad taller than Yang Lin, with an unreadable expression on, he began his search on the man that stood in front of him, patting him down from head to toe, even his sock and shoes were asked to be taken off and searched.
The rest watched with expressions bordering on shock, that such an act was taking place right in front of them. If one could put a name to it, there was no doubt the look in their eyes screamed "This man is dangerous", the search came to an end and Yang Lin was released by Gao Yifeng who walked back to Zhang Tianyu.
