Ye Tian drove like a maniac as he thought about Kai Xin's reaction.

After hours of driving, he pulled to a stop at the pier.

Slamming his palms down on the hood of his car, he cursed, "That bitch...What was that smile for... "

Pulling out his used pack of cigarettes, he lighted one of them.

When he saw the missed call from Luo Yin, he growled in annoyance before returning the call.

"What?"

Using the most serious voice he had ever used, Luo Yin replied gruffly, "Call off your hounds."

From the sound of the sheets rustling, he can tell that Luo Yin was about to go to bed.

Annoyed that Luo Yin was enjoying himself, he said, "Come back on your own then."

"Xiao Tian!" snapped Luo Yin, "I don't want to go back!"

"I met an old friend. I think you would be delighted to see her again."

Luo Yin asked suspiciously, "Who?"

"The person who plucked your cherry..."

On his side, Luo Yin went silent for a moment.

When he finally made a sound, it was a laughter,

"Xiao Tian. Are you turning senile before our fathers? What makes you think I want to see a used goods?"

"She's the one who hurt Shangguan Xing."

Luo Yin sat up straight.

He looked at his phone for a second before putting it back to his ear, "Are you sure about this? How can she? She's powerless."

Taking a puff, he blew it out before replying, "I talked to Xing. He confirmed it."

"That's interesting..." said Luo Yin with a tint of amusement in his voice, "...The bunny thought that she is a tiger now?"

"Just get your ass back if you want to have fun. Either way, I won't call my people off."

Once he hung up, Ye Tian continued smoking as he had a flashback to an accident that happened when they were eight.

....

Little Luo Yin was sitting quietly in the air-conditioned classroom in the best school in Imperial City.

In his hands was his latest report card.

When he saw him, Little Ye Tian skipped in and cheerfully called out, "Xiao Yin!"

Little Luo Yin looked at his cousin with a listless gaze, "Oh. Xiao Tian."

"What are you doing here? It's lunch time! Let's go and play!"

"I can't play," sighed Little Luo Yin. He passed the report card over and said sadly, "Daddy is going to kill me this time ."

Little Ye Tian frowned.

When he looked at the almost perfect report card, he smiled, "Hey, you got second place! That's better than me! I'm second from bottom!"

Little Luo Yin's eyes were soon filled with tears as he placed his head on the desk,

"Daddy is going to kill me. He said if I get second place again, he will disown me."

Little Ye Tian laughed and patted his back,

"Xiao Yin, don't be stupid. You are the only heir to the Luo Family. He's not going to disown you."

The little boy started crying as he begged,

"Xiao Tian, help me talk to daddy please. He loves you more than he loves me."

Little Ye Tian found it hard to deny that. It was well known that his uncle doted on him to the point of unreasonableness.

He suddenly had a thought and voiced it out loud, "Xiao Yin. I can get you out of it this time, but what about next time?"

When he heard that, Little Luo Yin cried even harder. He had no confident of getting the first place.

Watching his cousin's pathetic face, Little Ye Tian sighed, "I know a way where you can get the first place from now on."

Little Luo Yin sniffed, "How?"

"Follow me."

Little Ye Tian brought Little Luo Yin to the third floor. They stood on two chairs and looked down.

When Little Luo Yin saw the person who was reading at the bench directly below them, he was filled with rage, "It's Duanmu Wei Yang!"

Duanmu Wei Yang, the youngest son of General Duanmu, who took first place in everything whether it was sports or studies.

Luo Han would often compared his son to Duanmu Wei Yang and ridiculed him for never gotten any first place.

Little Ye Tian got down from the chair and said, "He's always here to revise during lunch hour."

Little Luo Yin stepped down from the chair and kicked it angrily, "I hate him. The nerd!"

Little Ye Tian whispered in his ear, "What if you can get rid of him?"

In a hushed tone, Little Luo Yin asked, "How?"

Looking around to make sure that no one would see him, Little Ye Tian pointed to the small decorative statue made from plaster and whispered,

"Drop that on him."

Little Luo Yin gasped, horrified at the suggestion made by his cousin, "Won't he get hurt?"

Shrugging twice, Little Ye Tian yawned before saying, "It's either him or you. Do you want your father to love you? Besides..."

He walked over to pick up the statue. Handing it to Little Luo Yin, he said, "You just want to scare him a little."

Little Luo Yin stared at the statue in his cousin's hand, and the report card that was in his own hand.

Even though he was scared, Little Luo Yin whispered to himself, "It's him or me."

While his cousin was giving himself a pep talk, Little Ye Tian climbed up the chair to look at the kid below, "Better be quick before he leaves..."

Little Luo Yin stood up on the chair and placed the statue directly on top of Duanmu Wei Yang.

His hands were shaking and he was having second thoughts.

Just as he was about to give it up, Young Ye Tian glanced at his cousin who were shaking and said,

"Guess Uncle Luo was correct. You were too cowardly to achieve anything. Let's go then."

When he heard his cousin's words, he got angrier and shouted, "I'm not a coward!"

Little Luo Yin dropped the statue and both boys crouched down until they heard a loud thump.

When they peeked over, Duanmu Wei Yang was lying on the floor, covered in blood and seemed lifeless.

Terrified, Little Luo Yin started to tremble. He turned to his cousin and stuttered, "W-What s-should we do now?"

When he saw the bloody sight of Duanmu Wei Yang, Little Ye Tian was slightly scared himself.

He grabbed his cousin's wrist and dragged him along,

"Run, you dummy!"

...

Ye Tian flicked the cigarette away and stepped on it.

Duanmu Wei Yang did not die that day but it would have been more merciful if he had died.

Instead, he was bound to wheelchair for the rest of his life, forever dependent on people to do everything for him.

For someone from a family like the Duanmu, it was a life not worth living.

Ye Tian entered his car as he thought about the investigation that followed thereafter.

Both of them got off scot free. There were no witness and no evidence that could implicate them.

That was the first time he really learned about the meaning of the phrase, "To kill someone with borrowed knife."

His eyes glinted with malice as he laughed maniacally while he drove away from the pier.
