Once DX calmed down from the news yesterday, they went for three more rounds before he decided to let her go.

By the time she woke up, DX was already up and ready to go to work.
"Why didn't you wake me?" whined Kai Xin as she stretched out on the bed.
She tried to get out of the bed but her weak thighs gave in and she fell onto the floor.
"Ouch!"
DX immediately hurried over to help her up.
When she was on bed, he fretted over her,
"Are you alright? Did you get hurt? Should I get the doctor?"
"Yeah...," snapped Kai Xin.
She scowled at him as he helped to massage her sore back, "...Maybe you can get a check up and ask the doctor if there's anything wrong with your thing! You are 41! You shouldn't be able to do stuff like that!"
He smiled smugly, "What can I say? I'm good like that."
"My back is killing me!"
He made her lied down and helped to massage her back, "Stay here if there's nothing important for you to do at work."
"I can't stay. I have a meeting at the firm later in the afternoon."
She moaned as he used his hands on her sore back and hit the right spot.
DX slapped her butt lightly. Leaning down, he warned, "Make that noise again and you would not be leaving here for the rest of the week."
She laughed, "As if you'd just skip out on meetings."
With a brow raised, he dared her without saying anything.
Kai Xin gulped and shook her head, "I'm sorry, President Du. Please let the lowly me off."
He kissed her and when they parted, he whispered, "I'll see you soon."
Even though she was reluctant to let him go after being apart for so long, she knew that she cannot be selfish.
After all, he was President Du and millions of people depended on him for the livelihood.

Around late afternoon, Kai Xin was walking towards the cab that the hotel called for her when she saw a familiar person sitting inside of the cafe of the hotel.
"Alyssa?"
She cocked her head in curiousity when she saw Alyssa chatting with a bellboy.
Even though one of her arms was in a cast, she seemed happy. There was even a smile on her face.
"So she can smile?" thought Kai Xin. For some reason, Alyssa often scowled at her.
Even before the whole thing with her ex, Alyssa often ignored her or pretended that they do not know each other.
At first, her behavior had made Kai Xin confused since she was sure that they parted on good terms.
After a while, even though it was a pity, Kai Xin gave up trying to reconnect with her and they turned into enemies.
Alyssa turned and saw Kai Xin looking at her. The smile in her face faded as she quickly turned away.
Following Alyssa's view, Jiang Cheng noticed his guest. As per his training, he stood up and gave a bow to Kai Xin.
Kai Xin nodded at him before leaving the hotel to board the car waiting for her outside.
Once she left, Alyssa turned to him and asked, "Do you know her?"
"Yeah, she's one of our frequent guest."
Alyssa frowned as she thought, "Why would she frequents a hotel? She lives here."
Waving his hand in front of her to get her attention, Jiang Cheng asked, "Do you know her?"
"No. Not really. Shouldn't you get to work or something?"
Jiang Cheng frowned, "You asked me to come down."
Alyssa scowled at him. She took out a tupperware and handed it to him, "This is good for injury. Heat it up and eat it."
With his hand over his heart, Jiang Cheng said happily, "Did you make that just for me? I would definitely eat them all!"
"Don't be stupid!" snapped Alyssa. Before she left abruptly, she glared at him and said gruffly, "I accidentally made extra! Bye!"
While she was walking out, she heard him saying loudly, "I will eat them all! Bring me more food next time!"
With a smile, she flagged down a cab.
