The two drunken lovers strolled along at the emptied beach with the ever so loyal Han Ye following at a distance behind them.
Kai Xin sang loudly, completely out of tune, but for the equally drunk DX who was completely besotted by this person in front of him, it was heavenly. He watched fondly as she twirl around, and jumped about like a little monkey.
He smiled as she circled him and quickly took out his phone to record part of it for memory. When the little minx tripped and fell down, he immediately grabbed her hand, only to be pulled down along with her.
"Urgh!" He cried out when he fell down onto the soft sand.
Kai Xin grinned and rolled him over so that he was lying on his back and when he was on his back, she climbed onto him clumsily and accidentally kneed his crotch. He groaned from the intense sharp pain and slapped her butt lightly so that she would behave.
"You love that thing, don't you? Then stop hurting it."
She giggled softly before lying down on top him quietly. Placing her ear on his chest, she listened to the steady heartbeat of his as she mimic, "thump...thump...thump…"
The sound of his heart beating steadily and the warm emanating through his shirt has a calming effect on her drunken self as she just lay there in the same position for what seemed like eternity.
The entire time, DX merely placed his hand on her back as he caressed her back lovingly. For a long while, not a word was spoken between them as they enjoy each others presence.
"DX! " She suddenly said, causing him to peer down at her face. She reached out with her hands and tousled his soft and naturally wavy black hair. DX merely raised an eyebrow at her actions. By now, he was already used to her drunken behavior.
Once she was happy with her handiwork, she pushed herself up slightly to have a better look at the dashing man and his equally beautiful black eyes that looked like they contained all the mystery in the world.
"Why did you choose me? I was so mean to you!"
He placed his hand at the back of her head and pushed it down so that she was laying on his chest again. With a deadpan expression, he said, "I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you."
When he was done, she quickly pushed herself up and scowled at him with annoyance on her face, "Ok, I know I am somewhat intoxicated now, and that my IQ points are probably in the range of two digits, but I can still remember that quote from The Fault in Our Stars!"
The two of them had watched the show together previously and she had pointed out that the love declaration by Augustus Waters was her favorite from the show.
She tackled him as punishment for tricking her but she was easily overpowered and pinned down by the bigger guy. With her head between his elbows, and their faces mere inches apart, the air between them started to thicken and she found it harder to breath as she gazed into the eyes of the man who was staring down at her with unbridled burning passion.
"D..DX…" She looked away, unable to take him on when he was acting like this.
Knowing that Han Ye was nearby, he lowered his voice as he hooked a finger into the strap of the dress, "I wish I can take you here, right now. Just strip you off that little thing and show you the reason why I chose you."
When she blushed, he brushed the back of his fingers gently against her reddened cheek, "You have been driving me crazy since the first time I saw you, and it has only gotten stronger and more intense with time. Kara Zhen...my naughty little minx...What have you done to bewitch me?"
Without waiting for her reply, he tilted his head slightly and leaned forward to kiss her. Unlike before, his kiss was softer and gentler. A simple kiss befitting the theme of the night. A first kiss. A teaser for what will come.
She moaned as she affectionately demanded more, "DX…"
