A couple of hours later, when Kai Xin woke up, she felt something heavy resting on her arm. When she looked down, she was surprised to see DX sleeping next to her. He was still seated on the chair while his head rested on her hand.
"He doesn't look comfortable…" thought Kai Xin with a smile. With her other hand, she reached out to touch him.
As she was gently caressing his head, he woke up and caught her hand. She was slightly startled by his sudden movement but she got over it quickly enough. With a smile, she asked, "Don't you want to rest more?"
He placed a kiss on the inside of her wrist before he murmured, "You are supposed to kiss the Prince to wake him up…"
As she watched him stretched his arms, she said, "I was going to but you woke up before I could do it…"
"How are you feeling now?" asked DX as he reached out to caress her cheek. Her temperature felt normal and her complexion was better as well.
"Better...I told you it was nothing…" replied Kai Xin. Her face was lightly tinted with red color as she felt embarrassed by the commotion she caused. When she saw the feast that DX prepared for her, she might have gone overboard and stuffed herself silly which resulted in the current predicament.
DX pinched her cheek lightly as he scolded her, "I don't care if you were merely pricked by a needle. The next time you feel any pain or discomfort, you will let me know immediately. Don't worry about the money."
"If I tell you, you are just gonna force me to come to the hospital again..." thought Kai Xin as she looked at him. She could see him as an overly protective father and she felt pity for her unborn daughter. With a father like DX, their daughter might end up as an old spinster.
When he raised a brow at her, she smiled innocently before nodding in response to what he said earlier.
"Is she thinking about something weird again?" thought DX as he looked at her curiously. He knew that she was when she avoided his gaze.
After a while, she called out his name.

In a meek voice, she asked, "Can I go home?"
She hated the smell of the hospital. If it was before the pregnancy, she would have just rolled around the bed until the pain subsided.

When Kai Xin did not say anything else but merely pouted, he sighed, "Alright, alright. You win. If you don't want to stay at the hospital, then so be it. Phillip said that your indigestion is partially caused by stress... "...I wouldn't want my little minx to get another bout of indigestion because I force her to stay here. I'll check with him again and if he said OK, then we'll go home."
She smiled happily and wrapped her arms around his neck.

DX reached for the phone in his pocket and when he saw the message, he gently pulled her arms away from him. As he climbed onto the bed with her, he asked, "Do you still remember the woman who shouted at you and Caleb?"
"Yeah? What about her?" asked Kai Xin before she rested her head against his shoulder.
"Han Ye just sent me something. Take a look."
They watched a short clip of the woman and her husband apologizing to "Ms. Zhen and her little boy". The woman was bowing while her husband kept apologizing for the way his wife treated "Ms. Zhen and the poor little boy".
Once they were done, Kai Xin asked incredulously, "What was that? Why is she doing this now? Where did Han Ye get this?"
Before DX could answer her, she narrowed her eyes at him as she asked the last question, "What have you done?"
"I might have done something to her husband. He might have been demoted," said DX without any remorse.
When she heard him, Kai Xin laughed and slapped his chest lightly as she said, "Damn, you are so mean! She was just being a little bi*tch. You don't have to demote her husband because of it!"
"Well, she started it first! Anyway, she probably saw your photo on the news and put the pieces together. I warned her husband that if she did not make a public apology on TV, he would have no hope of ever getting his position back," said DX as he wrapped his hand around her waist.
Kai Xin smiled as she rewatched the clip, "Damn! My man here is such a vengeful person! I shouldn't be happy over this but I can't stop smiling!"
DX smiled and kissed her on the forehead. When she looked up at him, he cupped her face and said gently, "You are my woman. I can't even bear to bully you, so how can I let anyone else do it? If someone dares to pick on you, I'd definitely make them pay..." He placed a kiss on her lips. After he had lingered for a few seconds, he whispered, "Even if I have to make everyone else my enemy, I'd gladly do it for you..."
