He received two stitches for the wound and she felt squeamish as she watched Dr. Phillip patched him up. "Urgh..." Kai Xin winced when she saw the needle went into his flesh. DX laughed softly and said, "No more mochi for you...At least not for a while...It's something else...You'll know soon..."
When they reached the foyer, Kai Xin went wide-eyed when she saw the surprises that DX brought her. Standing at the bottom of the stairs were the Nakamura sisters, Ki Hong and Jane, and they smiled when they saw her.

He smiled and after placing a kiss on her lips, he said, "They are worried about you as well. I know you have been feeling listless since you were cooped in the house for the past two days. You won't be able to leave the house for a while..." When he saw that she was annoyed by the idea of "home arrest", he quickly added, "...At least not until the reporters give up on you. So, go ahead and talk to them. I'd be back in about an hour or so for dinner. If I'm late, don't wait for me, alright?"
Once she realized that it would only be a couple of days more, Kai Xin nodded and kissed him back before she ran to her visitors.
Before he left, DX gave Ki Hong a glare as if he was telling him to keep his hands away.

DX drove to his mother's house which was about 30 minutes drive away. She had insisted on staying here after his father passed away.
The main house contained too many memories of his father and she was unable to bear living there when the man she loved was already gone.

"Don't ask so many questions. Get your brother as well. You are moving back to the main house," said DX before he turned to instruct one of the servants to help the boys packed up their stuff.

When DX turned to look at him, Jack folded his arms and said, "I won't go back as long as she's still there. Who knows if she would poison me to death…"
