For the first time in his life, Mr. Ye held his son closed to his heart as yelled out in frustration.

Mr. Ye turned his body slightly so that he could see DX. With tears running down his cheeks, he kowtowed to his nephew as he sincerely begged, "Please! Save Xiao Tian! Whatever you want, I'll give it to you! Everything! Even my life! Please, XiAn! Pleassse!"
Ye Tian's blood was flowing out of his chest like a small stream of a river. In his blood loss, he started to hallucinate. He thought that he saw his mother looking at him from the top of the stairs.
He wanted to call out to her but she suddenly disappeared from his sight.
Suddenly, he saw a young boy standing in front of him and was waving at him. Ye Tian's initial thought was that the boy looked so beautiful… As he stared at the young boy, he wondered if his own son, Caleb would grow up to be as beautiful as this young boy in front of him.
He wondered if Caleb would have a happier life with William Tan and his wife. The last he saw them, both of them seemed to adore the little fellow. He wished that the only son he ever had would be able to feel what it was like to be loved by someone.
"Ah, he's smiling at me…" thought Ye Tian as he looked at the young boy. He felt that the young boy's smile reminded him of someone… Someone he cruelly hurt before in order to achieve his goal…
The young boy crouched down in front of him and reached out his hand to Ye Tian. Ye Tian glanced weakly at his father who was saying something to DX. He then glanced back at the young boy.
He wanted to ask, "Are you here to take me away?"
However, he did not have the energy to speak. His vision was getting blurry and he could feel his energy running out.
"Come…"
Ye Tian thought he saw the boy talking to him. Feeling a sense of familiarity, he reached out with his hand as well.
Suddenly, he heard someone said "Save him" and before he could touch the young boy's hand, the young boy pulled his hand back. Ye Tian watched as the young boy slowly backed away from him with a smile.
The young boy whispered, "See you again" before he then disappeared into the air.
Ye Tian did not know what happened earlier but nor did he have the time to think about it because the moment the boy disappeared, Ye Tian lost his consciousness.

What happened earlier was that after Mr. Ye begged DX to save Ye Tian, DX did not give him an answer immediately. Instead, he pulled Callum's phone out of his pocket and turned on the loudspeaker before asking, "You're on the loudspeaker. What's your plan, honey? Name it and I'll handle everything… If you want him to die, then so be it..."
Kai Xin, who had been listening to them the whole time, did not want everything to end here. She had a complicated expression as she thought about what DX said. There were still many unanswered questions that she wanted to ask Ye Tian. She knew that there was no way she would allow him to die so easily before he answered everything that she wanted to know.
After she adjusted Little Monkey who was sleeping on her arms, she pulled the built-in speaker on her earphones and said, "Save him."
DX did not question her decision nor did he showed any expression that said he doubted her. He meant what he said earlier. As long as she wanted it, he would handle everything.
Mr. Ye looked at him with eyes that were filled with hope but DX ignored him. Instead, DX merely glanced at Callum and said, "Tell them to come in now."
Callum nodded and he immediately went to the door. The moment he opened it, a group of trained medical personnel rushed in and when they saw the two injured people who were on the brink of death, they immediately tended to them.
Mr. Ye looked at the team of medics with his eyes wide opened as he wondered what was going on here.
Unknown to him, from the moment they went into the house, DX's people had disarmed all of Mr. Ye's guards at the outside of the house and knocked them out.
However, Mr. Ye did not say anything about it. Instead, when the medics told him to move aside, he did so without any protest so as to let the medics handled the situation. Mr. Ye knew that based on what Kai Xin said earlier, his nephew would allow his son to live for now. That was all he could ask for.
While the medics handled the situation with the two unconscious men, one of DX's men who was standing guard outside came shortly after the group of medics. With a hushed tone, he said to Callum who was still standing near the door, "Young Master Shenlong, we found a woman being kept on the second floor…"
When they were securing the parameters of the house to make sure that Mr. Ye did not plant an ambush on those inside the house, two of DX's men saw a woman standing at one of the balconies.
However, by the time they managed to alert their teammates and sent people up onto the balcony, the woman had disappeared from the room. Instead, inside the room was another woman who was dressed in a doctor's coat and two women who looked like they were nurses.
The one dressed like a doctor immediately raised her hands and said, "Please don't hurt us!"
With his team, the leader of the team who was sent to secure the room sent a message out to those who were on the ground floor and instructed them to be on the lookout for the woman. After a while, everyone reported back. None of them had seen her.
The leader of the team immediately sent a man to inform their bosses. If he was not wrong, that woman was still in the house.
"We went through every room by going in through the balcony. As per President Du's order, we're not allowed to alert Ye Xuanyuan or his men of anything. But the problem is that we could not search for her in rooms that had no balconies. Every other door other than the main door was locked with a chain from the inside. We've looked all over outside and any other place that she might be in. However, there was no sight of her… She's still hiding inside here," said the man who entered the house earlier.
Once the man finished talking, Callum frowned as he thought, "A woman? Why would Ye Xuanyuan keeps a woman here?"
The man continued to say, "We don't know if the woman is dangerous. The person inside the room… The doctor and nurses… They won't tell us anything despite our threats."

That was when he saw a woman who was crouching down behind the banisters on the second floor. She was holding two of the wooden square top balusters as she peeked from in between. From the distance, and from the way the woman's face was partly hidden behind the square top balusters, Callum could not see her features clearly.
He placed his right hand on his gun that was on his belt holster as he kept his eyes on her.
