DX's eyes glanced around as he gave his customary speech. Han Ye had informed him that Kai Xin's invitation was scanned 30 minutes ago. She should have been here by now but he could not find her. He kept going to the foyer but he could not find her. Instead, he had to deal with the guests who insisted on talking with him.
After he passed the microphone to his mother, he went to check with Old Mo. He even show him the precious photo of her that he kept in his wallet. However, Old Mo did not recall seeing her and he had near perfect memory!
"Think carefully. She usually have a blank look on her face. Sometimes, she looks like she wants to kill people."
Old Mo shook his head and asked, "Could it be that the young missus' invitation card was stolen by someone else?"
DX frowned. He had texted Kai Xin earlier but she had yet to reply. He started to get worried. When he called Kai An earlier, he mentioned that Kai Xin had left the house since the evening.
"Tell Callum to check the cameras. If someone took her card, I want him to be brought forward to me immediately!"
"Yes, Master Du." Old Mo bowed before leaving quickly to find Callum.

Once he had dropped off his gift, K walked around the large crowded garden until he found his target, Shangguan Xing.
As heir to one of the top 10 family and the next head of the Shangguan Family, he would often be crowded by his peers who wanted to get on his good side.
K found him standing on the bridge of the koi pond with a bunch of guys. He slowly edged towards the bunch to listen to their conversation.
The bastard was bragging to his friends about his latest conquests until one of them pointed out that soon enough he would have a wife to tie him down.
"Ha!" Shangguan Xing laughed, "As if! I would just play with her for a bit. Once she gives me an heir, father said I can do whatever I want then."
His friends laughed. One of them said, "You are really a bad man, Xing. Playing with a little maiden's heart. Aren't you afraid of General Nakamura's wrath? "
Shangguan Xing scoffed, "She should be glad that I would actually marry her. Who else would want that old hag if not for the connections with the Nakamura clan? Have you seen her? She's such a boring thing!
He ignored the No Feeding sign, and threw a piece of sandwich into the pond before lamenting, "I bet she wouldn't even say anything if I beat her up. I had asked for her younger sister but now I'm stuck with her!"
He leaned on the table and looked at his reflection from the pond. As he arranged his quiff, he frowned and sighed, "The younger Nakamura seems like she would fight like a hellhound. It would have make the marriage more interesting."
K felt his heart pumping as blood rushed into his head. As if he would let Naomi or Rin get married to him! He cursed as he gripped the wine glass in his hand tightly, to the point it almost break. When he heard a voice being transmitted from his earphones, he calmed himself down.

Hearing Phantom's voice and realizing the magnitude of her actions, Kai Xin cleared her thoughts. She took a glass of red wine from the waiter and took a sip. Once she was calmer, she ran towards Shangguan Xing's direction and purposely spilled the red wine on his white tuxedo.
A big, red patch soon formed on his shirt. Shangguan Xing cursed when he realized that his favorite tuxedo was ruined. Kai Xin mumbled an apology before running off.
"What are you waiting for! Get that bastard for me!" Shangguan Xing yelled at his friends. When his friends chased after Kai Xin, he angrily stomped off into the mansion.
