DX tried to hold her down, but she kept thrashing about as she resisted him. It hurt him to see her like this, to be helpless as she was fighting her own internal battle, and to know that he was the one scaring her.
Not knowing what else to do and afraid that she would hurt herself, he pulled her up and hugged her tightly as she kept thrashing and scratching his back and begging to be let go.

He then threw the bottle at Callum and ordered him to research them and get back to him by tomorrow.
When he went back to the room, he froze. She had pushed the comforter away and she was touching herself. As he observed her actions, he had an inkling what those pills could be.
"That bastard!" He growled as he wrapped her up in the comforter and carried her away.
When she protested, he kissed her forehead and told her,
"Kara, baby...We will go to my room for now."
