Still maintaining the authoritative tone in his voice, Du Jin held out his hand, "Xiao Xun. Be a good boy and give me the stone now. I won't let anyone hurt you."
As if in a trance, Young Callum lifted the stone slowly and dropped it in Du Jin's hand.
He did not understand his own action but the voice in his head told him to do so.
Du Jin kept the stone in his pocket and even though the boy's face was covered in blood, he picked him up in his arms and as he wiped the blood away, he gently said,
"Xiao Xun, follow Uncle Du back, ok? Uncle Du will take care of you on behalf of your father."
When Young Callum stared at Du Jin, the man smiled and said, "Were you afraid? Is that why you got angry?"
Slowly, the boy nodded and his eyes started to get teary as he called out softly, "Papa...Papa..."
In order to give his son a normal life, Shenlong Yu gave up his position as the heir of the Shenlong Family and moved abroad with the boy.
He did not want his son to be brought up by the strict teachings of his family and thus, he had named Du Jin as the legal guardian.
When Du Jin received the news that his best friend had died, he had felt lost and devastated.
The only thing that kept him going on was the knowledge that his son was out there alone.
DX watched as Du Jin patted Young Callum's back gently as he whispered comforting words to the scared little boy who missed his father.
As he glanced at the boys who were being tendered by paramedics, Du Jin ordered his men to clear up the mess before walking away with Young Callum.
That was the first and the last time DX saw his father used his power and money to cover up for someone.
Up until now, his father had maintained that one should not abuse their position to gain unfair advantage.
He frowned as he stared at the boy who was sitting between him and his father in the car.
The blood and tear on his face was gone but they were scratches and bruised on his face.
For most of the journey, he had stared blankly ahead.
"Is he actually your illegitimate son? You can tell me, you know."
Du Jin cleared his throat before slapping DX at the back of the head, "What kind of man do you think I am?"
As he rubbed the sore spot, DX grumbled, "You just covered up for him. Those boys were badly injured, and that caretaker probably needs lifelong visits to a psychiatrist!"
As he glanced down at the boy, Du Jin said tenderly as he caressed the boy's head, "They probably picked on him first."
"That's not what you said when you sent me to jail when I was thirteen!"
Glaring at his own son, Du Jin scoffed, "You deserved it. Who asked you to throw the first punch?"
DX admitted. It was his own fault. He had a short fuse back then and when the kid did not stop teasing him about his height, he broke his nose.
Du Jin was so angry that he sent him to rot in jail for a week.
How could his father helped someone else's kid and ignored his own!
Annoyed, DX glanced down and pinched the kid's cheeks.
When Young Callum glared at him, DX stretched his cheeks up and down before laughing, "Damn. You are kind of adorable."
Du Jin slapped his son's hands away and pulled Young Callum towards him to protect him from his son, "Of course he is adorable. He is Yu's son."
"Are we seriously bringing him into our home?"
"Of course. By the way..." Du Jin gave his son an evil smile before saying, "He is yours to take care of now."

As DX lowered the naked Callum into the bath, he thought wryly as he took a peek at his private part, "You have grown well."
When he had bathed the then 10-year-old Callum for the first time, he was worried about the size of his thing and thought that it might never grow to be of normal size.
"Stop staring at my junk, you perverted old man!"
DX looked up and saw Callum glaring at him, "You woke up early this time."
Callum shrugged as he took the sponge from DX, "It was just a short session."
"You know. I should really find you a wife. If my Kara found out that I have been giving another person a sponge bath, she would flip out."
Irritated, Callum grabbed the soap and threw it at DX who managed to avoid it, "Stop showing off and get out!"
