"Yes. Let's date for 100 days and see if things will work out for us. We have nothing to lose and besides, this is just a trial. But if things went well between us at the end of the trial period, then we can continue on dating, right? By that time, it will be for real."
Nian Jiezhen didn't know whether or not to accept his offer. She was not the type of person who would do such things. Being in a relationship wouldn't work well for her since she knew that by the time she goes back to work, she wouldn't have much time to give him.
"I know that you still love Lu Yifeng. I'm the same, I still have feelings for Xiao Mei... Let's just say that, this is one way of distracting ourselves from them. We share each other's pain, we are the only ones that can understand each other... I'll be here for you and you'll be here for me." He caressed her cheek with his thumb.

She huffed, "So what if I'm a beginner at it? No, I'm not going to try this 100 days dating you."

Ren Shiyuan blinked a few times because of what she said. Their situations were the same, their parents wanted to fix an arranged marriage for them although their reasons for rejecting them were different. He didn't agree with what his family wanted because he wanted to marry the girl he loved.
"Fine, we can do that." Ren Shiyuan said with a smile. If his family learned that he was with someone, then they could finally stop pestering him right?
"My mother and father will be coming on Friday. I am going to introduce you to them and whatever happens, after I introduce you to them, you have to help me out, okay?"
Ren Shiyuan nodded and chuckled, "Okay, as long as you help me out with my family as well."
She blinked a few times, "They want to marry you with someone else?"
"Just like what I said before, we are the same." He said as he reached out for his drink.
"I see... I guess that's good. This 100 days trial will be useful for both of us."
"Mm." Ren Shiyuan took a sip from the hot choco.
Nian Jiezhen stood up and went to take a peek from the curtains of her window. "It's still snowing outside, won't you be late for your work?"
"Who said that I have work?" Ren Shiyuan was sitting on the sofa in comfort, he placed his mug back on the coffee table before he took the phone out.
"You said that you have somewhere you should be earlier." She walked towards her and peeked to see what he was doing on his phone but he has already exited his inbox by then.
Ren Shiyuan turned to her and smiled. He kept his phone before he reached out to her and made her sit on his lap. "I did say that." He grinned at her, "And I'm already here."
"How about your work?" Nian Jiezhen couldn't help but ask as she looked at his beautiful face.
"I wouldn't be here right now if I'm not free, " said Ren Shiyuan as he stared back at her. His slender hands were on her legs, caressing them in a loving way.
"Oh, that's good then." She placed her hand on his chest to grope his breast but for some reason, she found his chest too soft... as if there was nothing under his bra other than the pads.
