Nian Jiezhen decided to ignore Xia Meilin. She knew that Xia Meilin was just trying to annoy her so ignoring her was the best choice. If she did something that would result in Xia Meilin and her children's harm, Lu Yifeng would definitely hate her!
When Little Melon came back, he noticed the atmosphere between his mother and Nian Jiezhen. Because of the heavy atmosphere around them, he couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong, momma? Sister Jiezhen?"
"Nothing." They both said at the same time. When they did, Xia Meilin and Nian Jiezhen looked at each other before they crossed their arms and turned away. "Hmpf."
Little Melon blinked a lot when he watched them in sync. He tilted his head to the side and couldn't help but wonder if they were fighting or they were just mad at each other.
The little boy let out a heavy sigh. He walked towards them and stood in the middle. "Okay, who started it?"
"She did." Xia Meilin and Nian Jiezhen once again said at the same time.
"Stop copying me." They glared at each other.
"Stop, stop, stop. Mello will listen to both sides." Little Melon quickly said. If they continued on like this they might start fighting with their fists.
Because of what Little Melon said, the two women obediently became quiet.
Little Melon turned to Nian Jiezhen as if waiting on what she has to say.
"She came here to provoke me," said Nian Jiezhen with a serious look on her face.
"Provoke you? I'm here to warn you not to approach MY husband. You like him and I'm not going to sit still and do nothing while some other women try to seduce him!" growled Xia Meilin.
"Who's trying to seduce him? Have you seen me seducing him? Oh please. What's wrong in liking him? At least I'm not trying to steal him from you!" Nian Jiezhen retorted in annoyance.
"Not trying? My husband is just so in love with me that whatever you're trying in making a move to him, it is not affecting him!"
While Xia Meilin and Nian Jiezhen continued on arguing, Little Melon was calmly standing in the middle. He cupped his chin as if thinking of something.
So the main problem here was about his father. Little Melon sighed before he raised his hands to them. "Stoooop!"

Little Melon turned to his mother, "Momma, I don't think it's wrong to like dada. Mello likes dada, mami likes dada, auntie Jing likes dada, grandpa and grandma like dada, uncle Xian Yu likes dada, uncle Su Lei likes dada and there are more people who like dada."
"You won't be able to understand us, Xiao Gua. You're just a kid." Xia Meilin huffed as she started to fan herself with the folding fan she brought.

Xia Meilin heaved out a heavy sigh, "Why are you siding with her, Xiao Gua? I'm your mother, you should be on my side."
"That's because Mello knows that there's nothing wrong in liking other people."
Nian Jiezhen nodded in agreement with what the little boy said.
Little Melon turned to Nian Jiezhen, "Sister Jiezhen can only like dada but you can't steal him, okay? Dada belongs to momma."
