At one of the Da Household’s homes, Tina broke everything in her bedroom.
‘Tina, why are you breaking everything?’ Dao Sheng asked.
‘Mum, it’s unfair,’ Tina said. ‘Why does Zhen Zhen get to have Phil and everything, but I have nothing?’
‘Tina, didn’t you say Tan Lang will help you?’ Dao Sheng asked.
‘Now that Da Tu Li sided with Ni Sheng to save Da Fu Li’s life, Shu Tang Jue won’t let Tan Lang’s members make any moves against Ni Sheng,’ Tina said.
‘Shu Tang Jue is a smart man,’ Dao Sheng said. ‘Do you want me to have dinner with him and persuade him to help you?’
‘Shu Tang Jue rejected my dinner invitation,’ Tina said.
‘I don’t believe Phil has no weaknesses,’ Dao Sheng said.
‘His weakness is his wife,’ Tina said. ‘Mum, forget it. His wife is well protected.’
Dao Sheng disagreed with Tina, and she secretly schemed to kidnap Zhen Zhen.
At Yue Gu Zai’s home, Ling Jia was depressed after she returned from Italy. Zhen Wu was training in Africa, Yue Dui Yi was obsessed with Tom and Jerry and Yue Cheng Tian and Louis only knew how to glare at each other like love rivals.
Ling Jia snuck out of the mansion to go vintage vase shopping.
Dao Sheng mistook Ling Jia for Zhen Zhen, and she kidnapped Ling Jia when Ling Jia was outside alone. She took Ling Jia to Tina’s home.
‘Do you know who I am?’ Dao Sheng asked.
‘If you don’t tell me then how will I know?’ Ling Jia asked.
‘I’m Tina’s mum,’ Dao Sheng said.
Ling Jia was disappointed her kidnapper was someone useless.
‘I want you to call Phil,’ Dao Sheng said. ‘Tell him to stay out of the Da Household’s business unless he wants you dead.’
‘Um, give me your phone,’ Ling Jia said.
Dao Sheng was suspicious why Ling Jia wasn’t scared.
‘How can I call Phil if you don’t give me your phone?’ Ling Jia asked.
Dao Sheng gave her phone to Ling Jia.
‘Don’t try any tricks,’ Dao Sheng warned.
Ling Jia called Yue Gu Zai.
‘Phil, it’s mum,’ Ling Jia said. ‘The Da Household kidnapped me. They told me to tell you not to be involved in their business unless you want me dead.’
‘Mum, don’t you have anything else to do?’ Yue Gu Zai asked. ‘Why did you go visit the Da Household?’
‘Did you hear me?’ Ling Jia asked. ‘Your mum is kidnapped.’
Ling Jia was upset Yue Gu Zai only saw Zhen Zhen as a human. Ling Jia regretted she didn’t call Yue Cheng Yi first.
‘Does that mean I shouldn’t wait for you to come home to eat dinner,’ Yue Gu Zai asked.
‘You bad son,’ Ling Jia said. ‘They want to kill your mum.’
‘Alright,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘I’ll let Cesar know not to cook dinner for you. Mum, come home after you had your fun. Help me deal with the Da Household. Lately I have a heavy workload on my plate.’
‘You bad son,’ Ling Jia said.
Ling Jia smashed the phone on the floor.
‘My son doesn’t love me,’ Ling Jia said. ‘I’ll call Louis. Do you know Louis?’
Dao Sheng couldn’t believe she kidnapped the wrong person. If Yue Gu Zai didn’t care about his own mother, she didn’t believe Louis would care about Ling Jia. But she had nothing to lose. She asked a guard to bring her another phone to give to Ling Jia.
‘If you can’t persuade Louis then I’ll shoot you dead,’ Dao Sheng said.
Ling Jia called Louis.
‘Louis, I’m kidnapped,’ Ling Jia sulked.
‘Who’s the unlucky person who kidnapped you?’ Louis asked.
Yue Cheng Tian heard Ling Jia’s voice, and he got into another glaring match with Louis.
‘Louis, this isn’t a joke,’ Ling Jia said. ‘They said if Ni Sheng doesn’t stay out of the Da Household’s business, they’ll shoot me dead.’
‘Gu Zai called me before,’ Louis said. ‘He told me you won’t be back for dinner. What a shame, I was planning to personally cook your favorite dinner dishes tonight.’
Louis passed the phone to Yue Cheng Tian.
‘Louis, don’t you love me anymore?’ Ling Jia asked.
Yue Cheng Tian knew Louis wanted him to lose his temper.
‘Where are you?’ Yue Cheng Tian asked.
‘Husband, I’m kidnapped,’ Ling Jia sulked. ‘Come save me.’
‘Do you want me to ask Louis on your behalf if he still loves you?’ Yue Cheng Tian asked coldly.
‘Husband, you misheard me before,’ Ling Jia said. ‘I asked if my husband loves me.’
‘Woman, stop talking nonsense!’ Dao Sheng warned.
Yue Cheng Tian hung up the phone, and Ling Jia knew he was angry.
‘Look what you’ve done,’ Ling Jia said. ‘You made my husband angry. My husband is a petty man. You’re in big trouble.’
‘You crazy woman, you’re the one who is in big trouble,’ Dao Sheng said. ‘I should have shot you the moment I saw you.’
Ling Jia intended to have a little fun. But Dao Sheng made her husband angry. She took out three bombs from her pocket and threw one bomb at the window. She escaped through the window, threw the second bomb into the house and she ran into the dense wood.
Ling Jia used the phone to call Da Tu Li.
‘Who are you?’ Da Tu Li asked.
‘I’m helping you take care of Tina,’ Ling Jia said. ‘I want you to drive me home so I can eat dinner.’
Da Tu Li hung up and drove to Tina’s home.
Tina arrived home in her red sports car. Her home was burned down. She noticed a figure hiding in the woods. Before she could step out of her car, Ling Jia’s third bomb exploded and killed Tina instantly.
Da Tu Li arrived at Tina’s burnt home, and she gave Ling Jia a lift home.
‘You should be happy I helped you got rid of Tina,’ Ling Jia said.
‘Um, but it’ll be troublesome to explain her death,’ Da Tu Li said.
‘Don’t worry,’ Ling Jia said. ‘Dead people can’t talk. Drive faster, I want to make it home in time to eat dinner.’
