“I was extremely afraid that you would detest me after knowing the secret of the Snow fox clan… luckily you didn’t.” Lea gave a long sigh of relief and said, “Now, I no longer have any secrets kept from you. In the future, you no longer have any reason to abandon me.”
Gu Mengmeng laughed helplessly and shook her head to say, “I never thought of abandoning you…”
“You did.” Lea stared hard at her and ranted. “During that coldest winter, you said you didn’t want me.”
“That was because you abandoned me first,” Gu Mengmeng rebutted.
Lea snuggled in Gu Mengmeng’s arms and said, “Yes, that’s because I was asking for it, so I was punished. Mengmeng, did you know? Even if my heart is made of steel, it still cannot survive a sentence of “I’m no longer in love with you”. Promise me, never say that to me, alright?”
