Bin Ruo called his brother, Bin Guan after his lunch time.

"Yo, wadddup?" Bin Guan picked up right away.

"Your crazy side chick came to the office today and mistook me for you. I basically told her to get out, but it didn't seem like she would let you off easily tonight. Just a nice warning from your bro." He complained.

"Ohhhh, I'm sorry bro. I'll find a way to control her." Bin Guan sounded playful, but only Bin Ruo would know that he was dead serious when it comes to clingy women.

"By the way, no matter how much I look at her, from top to toe, left to right, I don't see a hint of your past girlfriends in her." Bin Guan started questioning about their relationship because he knew his brother's preferences.

"Bro, don't worry about it. I'll make sure she doesn't come bug you anymore." He was about to hang up the call, but Bin Ruo reminded him.

"Guan, I'm hoping that my instincts are wrong this time, but if you're dating this woman for Xiao Ling, please stop whatever you're doing. She wouldn't want to see you like this even if she recovers." Bin Guan remained silent on the other side of the call after hearing Xiao Ling's name.

"Bro, like I said, don't worry. Don't interfere. I know what I am doing. I need to go now. Bye." Bin Guan hung up.

After hanging up, Ran Ran frowned, "Is it really for Xiao Ling?"

Bin Ruo nodded and rubbed her back to comfort her, "Yeah. I knew something was wrong ever since he talked about chasing after an older woman right after Xiao Ling's incident."

Sigh

"Luckily, you two look alike even though you're not twins. Or else, he probably wouldn't be getting away this easily with whoever that woman is." Xiao Ling leaned her head onto his chest.

"Mm.. I just hope he won't do anything stupid." He kissed her forehead.

Both of them leaned against the couch while Bin Guan went to look for Gu Wing. When he entered, he saw a bloody massacre in the apartment. Everything was beyond repair. The paintings on the wall were deeply slashed by a sharp weapon like a knife or something. The glass cups, vases, light bulbs, and basically everything else that could be shattered are already scattered throughout the apartment.

His nails gripped tightly against his palm as he entered carefully, "I'm back~" He tried to hide his discomfort.

"Who said you could come in here?" Gu Wing sounded extremely tired. She had three bottles of wine, with two of them emptied. She poured the last drip of wine into her mouth and glared fiercely at him.

"Babe, I know I'm wrong. Forgive me? I was busy with the workload and stress that I went overboard earlier. But you need to understand that when I'm working, I can only focus on that. How could I give you happiness if I can't work hard for my income?" He tried to calm her anger with logical explanations.

She swung a bottle of wine across the room, hitting his feet, "Shut it. Leave. Didn't you say to never stop by without prior notice earlier? Where did that courageous, brave side of yours run to? Now you're coming to beg me for forgiveness? Isn't this too late?"

"Babe, don't be like this. You know I treat work seriously. It's my fault for saying hurtful words earlier and for making you sad. It is still office hours, and I have a huge stack of documents to take care of. See? I'm putting you before my work." Bin Guan tried to get this argument over with and soothe her princess problem.

"Hmph. Give me your phone." She demanded.

"Here." He knew she always loved checking his phone, so he had two. The phone he handed her were all fake numbers with different client names.

She dug through his contacts and didn't see any female names or assistant titles. She breathed a sigh of relief and handed the phone back to him, "You knew me when I was still in that toxic relationship with Yang Qiu Rei. I too, do not wish to be so insecure and always wanting to have you around. The reality is cruel, and after that relationship, I lost hope in men."

"I just hope that we can be good and happy. That's why I went to your office today. That assistant of yours looked above average and wanted to climb up your bed. I didn't like her one bit, yet you dared raised your voice at me and refuse to delete her contact information. Since you already deleted her, I'll let it pass this time." She made it sound like he was the unreasonable one.

Bin Guan forced a curl on the corners of his lips, "Thanks babe. I knew you'd understand me. I'll have someone clean our apartment. Do you want to shop for new furnitures and daily needs?" He hinted while looking around the ruined apartment.

'Rather than staying here and doing her, I'd rather go shopping instead.' he thought to himself as his heart sunk looking at the apartment's condition.

"Okay. Let's go then. I haven't eaten yet, so let's grab a bite too." She agreed and got up from the floor.

- Prison -

It was lunch time and Qiu Rei waited in line to get his share. When he raised his tray for the lunch lady to distribute his portion of food, she skipped his tray and filled the next.

"What's the meaning of this?" He asked rudely.

"What?" The lady gave him a disdained look.

"My food! How come you skipped mine?!" He banged his fist against the rail.

"Flies should wander in the garbage for food. Why are you in line? You're in the wrong section." The lady smirked as she continued filling others' bowls.

"Report! I need to report you!!" He screamed loudly, yet nobody came to help him. The guards were standing by the door and had heard him clearly, but none of them interfered with this incident.

Qiu Rei angrily threw his tray towards one of the guards and cursed, "You fuckers!!! You make me do work and I don't even get my lunch??? Do you want me to starve and die?!"

"He's attacking an officer! Jump him." The guard blew the whistle and other guards joined in. They cracked their knuckles and threw him some punches.

"Since he dared to attack an officer, starve him for two days with no food or water. Make sure the sun shines right into his face while he is in the cell. Tie him up." The guards dragged Qiu Rei to a private cell where he was given more hits before getting tied up facing the bright sun.

"What did I do to deserve this?" Qiu Rei asked, whispering softly to himself.
