Only lord knows how long they've been sitting and hugging each other because after they talked more about their childhood, they started feeling dehydrated. This is extremely bad for both of them, especially to Nana because she lost a large amount of blood before this. Ya Nuo told her to stop talking after hearing her increasing dry coughs.

While Nana rested on Ya Nuo's body, Ya Nuo flashbacked to the time after she helped Nana escape from Yang Qiu Rei's wrath.

'I'll make sure you'll never find out...'

/Ya Nuo's flashback

After making sure that Nana escaped safely, she snuck back to the room and placed the bricks back to its original position. After that, she wrapped the old dusty blanket around her body and pretended to be asleep at the corner of the room where empty spider webs were located.

Not long later, heavy footsteps could be heard and a sudden violent door slamming motion made the dangling crooked frame of a creepy doll on the wall fall down.

Master Yang scanned every corner of the room and pulled the blanket roughly making Ya Nuo hurt her head. "Where is that girl?!" he angrily growled at her and lifted her up in the air, choking her.

"I..I don't know who you're talking about."

"You don't know?! That girl was definitely here before! Only the two of you were here. If you don't know, who will?!!! Now talk, or else I'll make you regret ever being born!"

"W..what can a kid like me do? There's no windows here and the only way to exit this room is through the door" she counter argued logically. Even though her reason sounded perfectly logical, Master Yang's fury made him irrational and burst like lava from a volcano. The coldness that flashed in his eyes was dangerous and deadly. One look could make one's goosebumps and hair stand from such evilness. He commanded the guards to hold her down as he took the whip he prepared from one of the servants.

He asked one last time with tightly clenched teeth, "Where is she?! My money tree!!!!"

Ya Nuo repeated the same response and a whip lash landed on her baby smooth back. The damage from the whip was too great that once he retracted the whip, blood spurted on the wall. No matter how many times he asked, her response remained the same and more back whips were waiting for her. The more he thought about his loss on the ransom he wanted, the harsher his whip landed on her small trembling body. He was growing increasingly angry and stopped lashing his whip one at a time. He then consistently whipped her five times in a row on the same exact spot and her fresh blood and flesh could be seen rushing out of her newly created wound.

The wound was too deep that she bit down on her lip making it bleed. After a while of torture, she thought it was the end, but it wasn't. Master Yang took a handful of salt and slowly sprinkled it on her messy whip wounds before rubbing it in. Her eyes widened with tears scrolling down her pale white face and arms moved uncontrollably as he pinched salt into her bleeding wounds. Her lips were swollen, bloody, and ruined from all the biting and crying. Her legs were kicking and body slowly adapted to the burning sensation.

After her screams became softer, he poured alcohol on her wounds and rubbed it in causing her to cry in agonizing pain again. This type of pain was literally chilling straight to her bones making her body curve as he continued torturing her. She gasped for some fresh air, but only coldness filled her dry throat making her cough and choke repeatedly.

As if this disgusting action wasn't enough, Master Yang took some sewing needles and sanitized the needle using fire before closing up her wounds messily while she was conscious. That was the hardest part of all. Every time he used the needle to penetrate through her layers of broken slimy skin and through her open wounds to close it up, she felt as if flesh eating parasites were devouring her slowly. Finally, the salt, alcohol, and stitching procedures were all done and Master Yang was temporarily satisfied with his masterpiece. Ya Nuo laid on the cold floor lifelessly with shallow breathing as the heavy footsteps got further and further away. Once again, the room was back to its silence and for once, she was glad it was quiet again.

/End of flashback

Ya Nuo snapped out of her flashback and double checked on Nana's condition. After feeling her pulse and checking to make sure that she was breathing regularly, she relaxed a bit. That was when she remembered, 'The brooch!'

She slowly adjusted Nana's position and opened the brooch. She remembered how the brooch works and quickly pressed the hidden button for help. After that, her eyelids started feeling heavier and she fell asleep.

Meanwhile the Huang family, Yang family, Huan Hei, and Zhen Qi gathered together after everyone shared private information about Ya Nuo and Nana's situation. After having a calm discussion, they needed to figure out something very important. They needed to locate them accurately and find out whether they were alright. Ya Nuo would never get herself in a situation this complicated without prior preparation. Before she decided to get herself in this tight position, she left Huan Hei and each of her family members a pair of glasses and spare ones. She knew that once she entered Yang Mansion, all technical devices would be confiscated and she would be left helpless so she designed her own sneakers that will release a special type of invisible ink when certain amount of pressure is applied. The ink is normally invisible to the human eyes and only those with her specially made glasses will be able to see it. The amount of ink she placed in these sneakers is enough to last a year. She mentioned that if they don't hear from her in three days, then these glasses will come in handy if they plan to sneak into Yang Mansion. This type of special ink cannot be washed off with anything but her specialized ink removal formula. Therefore, no matter where she was held captive, they will be able to find her.

After living in the mansion for the past years, she could walk around the house backwards while being blindfolded so she drew a map of what's inside the house with extreme details. The only thing that was not part of the plan was Nana's interference. Now that Nana's phone indicated that her last known location was by Yang Mansion, they can already conclude that she was kidnapped. This is very risky because Nana's condition is unknown so they didn't know if she is injured and how long it'll take for them to find them. Everyone in the house had a solemn expression and was so quiet that they could hear each other's thoughts.

An alarm went off and broke the dead silence in the room. It was from Zhen Qi's cell phone.

Zhen Qi: "She's smart to put off the alarm on the brooch. This means they're in danger now. Only thing is we aren't sure whether she's with Nana or not."

Huan Hei: "But even so, we won't be able to get into Yang Mansion. This map is very precise in every detail, but barely helps if they are trapped elsewhere."

Wei Wei: "We can only take a risk and make a bet."

Zhi Hei: "I'll make a call to my friend and ask for permission to intrude Yang Mansion to look for Nana. Knowing how greedy that bastard is, he won't dare lay one finger on Nana if he wants ransom."

Huan Hei: "Let me go with you."

Zhi Hei shook his head: "If you come, you need to disguise yourself and pretend to be an officer. He doesn't know your face yet so it's better if we have you in a disguise."

Huan Hei nodded in agreement while Wei Wei and Zhen Qi also conveyed their thoughts of wanting to join the search party. Soon, they received the letter for permission to search the house and gathered enough men to meet at the Yang Mansion.
