Ya Nuo: "Do you deserve my respect? Learn to knock next time. Maybe you'll walk in on a naked woman and end up locked up in jail or chopped to pieces by a group of mafia one day."
Yang Qiu Rei controlled the tone of his voice, "This is my house so I own everything in here. What's wrong with not knocking on the door before entering a room that belongs to me?"
She sat up on the bed and replied without turning to look at him, "The house may be yours, but the people inside the house belongs to themselves. You don't own anyone in this house. If you want others to respect you, then respect them first. I know you're here for something. Speak up, I don't want to breathe in the same room as you."
Yang Qiu Rei smirked, "Smart girl. I'm here to make a deal with you. Remember the deal I told you about earlier? Do you still want to reject it?"
Ya Nuo: "The deal you're talking about is basically a schemed murder plan that you want me to be an accomplice to. You want me to marry the heir of that family and give birth to that man's child. While I'm pregnant with his child, you want me to poison him slowly so that once the baby is born, he will die. Not only that, my child will be a boy regardless of what gender I give birth to. If my baby is a girl, you'll have the nurse or doctor swap my child with another family. This type of dramatic family feud you came up with really only happens in dramas. Which part of this makes any sense to you hmm?"
Yang Qiu Rei: "That's only the process of it. You only have to do that, and I'll share with you a huge portion of the benefit that I get later. It's a fair offer."
Ya Nuo wrinkled the bed sheets with her fingernails, "You think that one human life is worth 40 million dollars? You think one life is worth even a number value in this world? She covered herself with the blanket signaling how much she hated talking to him. I already agreed for you on your behalf. You better play along and not embarrass me, or I'll take my rage out on the maids and butlers while you're present. 'If I agree to please the guy whom I'll be marrying, then I can put out the request for Guo Guo and everyone else to be freed from their lifelong contract. Hmm, this is harder than I thought because knowing him, he won't easily hand over those contracts. He will have to see some proof in order to believe in me too. She had a facial and makeup done. After the facial, her former great skin looked even smoother and poreless. The only thing that the makeup artist had to do was draw her eyebrows, apply a light shade of eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, and lip tint. Ya Nuo had a great side profile so she only needed slight touchups. Since her skin was near perfect, she didn't need any foundation or coverage, which makes it easier to do the rest of the makeup.
After everything was done and she finished getting ready, Yang Qiu Rei walked her to the car and reminded her, "If you dare play any tricks or say anything wrong tonight, the maids and butlers will suffer."
They got there half an hour ahead of the meeting time and Ya Nuo sat at the emptied table. She felt utterly uncomfortable because she could feel the obvious spies in the restaurant who were watching her every move.
