Lu San went for basketball practise afterschool, So when he returned home It was already dinner time.
Mo Xia was waiting for Lu San's arrival. So, when she heard the car's sound, she hurriedly walked towards the door. As the door opened, Lu San entered. The maids greeted " Welcome back home, Young master."
Lu San nodded and saw Mo Xia who was looking at him with little worried look. " What's the matter, mother? Didn't I already inform you about my late arrival tonight? So, Why do you look worried ?"
Mo Xia roughly smiled " No, it's nothing serious. First, have dinner. You must be tired and hungry." Then, Mo Xia went to the kitchen. Lu San rubbed his empty stomach as he really was hungry. He went to the dining area. Mo Xia placed the dinner at the table. They both ate quietly. Lu San looked at Mo Xia. He really thought his mother was acting weird but he didn't ask about it during dinner.
After dinner, Lu San freshened up and sat on the living room. Mo Xia also came carrying a tray. She placed the tray at the table and gave Lu San his favourite chocolate desert she made by herself. Lu San's eyes lit up seeing his favourite desert. He grabbed it and already started to eat it.
Mo Xia felt warm inside her heart looking at her son's cute actions. Mo Xia frowned remembering something. She opened her mouth to say something but in next second closed it as if she was struggling if she should ask him or not. After a while , She finally decided to ask him.
"Xiao San, Do you have a girlfriend?" Mo Xia asked. Lu San who was eating his sweet desert, upon hearing the sudden unexpected question , choked hard.* Cough, Cough*. Mo Xia patted his back " Are you okay? Here..Drink some water." Mo Xia gave him a glass of water. Lu San drank it unhurriedly.
Lu San felt a little better. But he still was shocked by the sudden question. He shook his head as he said calmly " No, I don't have a girlfriend. But why would you ask me this all of a sudden?"
Mo Xia felt somehow relieved upon hearing he didn't have a girlfriend. She sighed " Is it crime for a mother to ask her young son if he has girlfriend or not?" Lu San was speechless. She never asked him before about this and suddenly she asks today, and the reason is that she just randomly asked.
Lu San narrowed his eyes as if he doubted Mo Xia. Mo Xia chuckled" Fine, I will tell you the truth. I went shopping today with some of my friends. When I was looking around, I heard someone mentioning Lu International, So I stopped in my tracks to hear them. There were two women gossiping about something. One middle aged lady who was wearing red dress claimed that her daughter is dating the future heir of Lu International. The other just gasped and congratulated her. The lady in red bragged about how he treated her daughter and how he will be their future son-in-law..And everyone knows the heir of Lu International is you..So, it means that the lady in red was talking about you. I was going to ask that lady but right at that time my friends called for me, and when i looked back. No one was there. *sigh* This is the reason I asked if you have any girlfriend or not?..Sansan you must tell your parents if you have any, ok?"
Lu San nodded his head " Indeed, I will tell you. I will also bring her to home but only If i do have any girlfriend. Right now, I am single. No any girlfriends."
Mo Xia sneered " So that lady was just blabbering. If I find her again, I will make sure to punish her. Hmph" Lu San was confused who was that lady and the daughter his mother was referring to.
Lu San went to Mo Xia and began massaging her shoulders. He said " My dear pretty mother, Don't ever believe others over your close ones. I trust my mother than anyone in this world."
Mo Xia's anger subsided in an instant and her heart was filled with love and warmth. She caressed Lu San's hair " Oh Dear, You really know how to sweet talk. By the way, It's already late and you must be tired after the practise. Go get some sleep." Lu San nodded and he went to his room.
Inside his room;
He changed into his casual pajamas. He put on alarm. As he was going to his bed, the window suddenly opened by the force of wind. The cold air filled the room. Lu San closed up to the window. He looked outside and then up in the sky. There were lot's of stars and in the middle of stars there was a full moon shining brightly. He stared at the moon and stars for a long time without blinking as if he was daydreaming.
At Li Seulbi's house;
Li Seulbi sighed. She was bored staying at her room all day. Su Yumi frequently came into her room during the day.
Li Seulbi got out of bed and roamed around the garden. She felt freshed when the cool air touched her skin. She ate dinner and went back to her room. She packed the necessary books and copies for tommorow's class. She changed into her pajamas. Su Yumi came and gave her a glass of milk. Li Seulbi finished it in one go. They chatted for a while before Su Yumi went to her room.
Li Seulbi felt quite hot, So she approached the window to open it. As she opened it, The cool air filled her room. She felt the moonlight was brighter than usual. So, she looked up at the sky. The sky filled with stars and a full moon lying at the center made it look so beautiful that Li Seulbi almost forgot to breath. She stared at the moon and stars at the same time as Lu San . Li Seulbi felt something is wrong.
Her heart was pounding so fast that she could hear the sound of her own heartbeat. She patted her chest and took some deep breaths to calm it down. " Why my heart is po-" Before she can finish her words. Her mind became blank as some memories flashbacked.
