His opponent, Naoki, smiled before activating a level 6 Gene Movement art called Prairie of Shadows, and he instantly appeared behind Kansuke after seeming shocked and appalled by Kansuke's speed.
His mouth muscles twitched with excitement at the thought of picking up this little young sap from the hands of the other districts. Since Aquatic Temple had become the second best school in the Twelve Districts, they only needed a few more powerful auras in their school to uproot the impetuous Blazing Star School that had hampered their women for years and years.
In fact, many of the people from Blazing Star School were grinding their fists at missing the chance at scooping up Kansuke. The news had just gotten to them a little later because of the Aquatic Temple's schemes, and they only had themselves to blame for allowing the messenger to be waylaid by a bunch of reprobate thugs from Aquatic Temple. "Is he actually winning?" The audience gasped, looking over at Nariko as she smiled at Kansuke's efforts. He'd already completely decimated every Gene Elementalists notion of how the hierarchy system worked in the academies.
Only A+ rated, or higher, Gene Elementalists could have made it into Aquatic Temple, and since you needed special clearance to get information on Gene Elementalists ratings, they immediately assumed Kansuke would lose the battle!
The odds of having an A+ ranked Gene Elementalist was already one in a thousand! Seeing as Kansuke was level 26 and his opponent started using his third stored Gene Element with a look of rage on his face, it could only mean one thing and that was he'd at least reached the threshold of an A + rating!
