After hearing Caesar mention Elizabeth, Ahri entered into deep contemplation.

Ahri looked at Caesar quizzically, "why are you asking?" she asked curiously.

"Hmm, no particular reason" Caesar smiled and took Ahri's hand.

"Mmhmm, you always try to seduce me when your hiding something" Ahri rolled her eyes and pouted.

Caesar didn't answer her and they soon reached the front of his bedroom, he could hear happy giggling from the hallway.

*creak*

Caesar and Ahri both stepped in with smiles on their face, the four little girls all turned their heads curiously.

"Daddy and mommy!" Elizabeth called out happily and introduced them to her new friends.

"Make sure you don't get too clingy with mommy, or else daddy will get mad" Elizabeth whispered sweetly into the three young girl's ears.

All three of them nodded their heads solemnly and looked over at Caesar, their big and round eyes were full of curiosity as they studied his features.

The corner of Caesar's lips twitched as he walked over and sat on the bed, he pulled Elizabeth into his embrace and rested his chin on her head.

"What kind of lies are you feeding to your new friends?" He asked playfully.

"Hehe, don't worry daddy… I will make sure that no one gets in the way of you and mommy!" Elizabeth replied with a wide smile.

Caesar rubbed his chin on her hair and chuckled loudly, "who asked you to be the guardian of my relationship, darling?"

He whispered into her ear causing her to giggle due to being ticklish "nobody!" she replied sweetly.

Caesar lifted Elizabeth's chin and gazed into her eyes, "mommy and daddy will be leaving tonight…" he said quietly and pecked her on the forehead.

Elizabeth looked sad for a second but soon replaced it with a wide smile, "don't forget to get me those sweets you promised me and make sure to come back soon!" she said while trying to hold back her tears.

Caesar rubbed her head, "of course, how could I forget something so important?" he asked teasingly.

Elizabeth jumped off Caesar's lap and ran towards Ahri, "you have to bring me back something too mommy, and make sure daddy comes back soon!"

Ahri kneeled down and hugged her tightly, "I will bring you back something very special!" she said soothingly and also kissed her on the forehead.

Caesar stood up from the bed and walked towards the door, he knew the longer they stayed the harder it would be to part.

He grabbed Ahri's hands and opened the door, he waved towards three little fox-kin girls and Elizabeth one last time.

"We have to go now, be sure not to cause any trouble in the academy Elizabeth"

Elizabeth nodded her head cutely and tears were forming at the corner of her eyes.

*slam*

Caesar closed the door behind him and walked with Ahri towards the palace gates… Ahri looked at him filled with worry.

"Will she be okay without us…" she asked quietly

"She will be fine, besides, have you not noticed yet?" Caesar grinned and asked curiously.

"Noticed what?" Ahri asked doubtfully.

"She has a natural ability to attract people, even me and you were affected... her charm is incredible. Probably no one in this kingdom is going to hurt her." Caesar said seriously.

"That's a good thing, right?" Ahri asked after thinking for a second.

"It's a good thing unless she attracts the wrong people, however, It is weird…" Caesar replied thoughtfully.

"What's weird?" Ahri asked.

"Her ability to attract people isn't normal, it's astonishing. I never thought about it before but even I, a vampire was attracted to her when I first saw her"

Ahri nodded her head slowly, "maybe it's just because she is very cute?" she responded with a sly grin.

Caesar just shook his head with a smile, "when you first saw me, what did you instinctually feel"

"Fear" Ahri answered back without even thinking.

"When she first saw me, she greeted me with a smile" Caesar explained calmly…

"That could be due to her young age though…" Ahri said while lifting her chin with her right hand.

"Possibly, I also wasn't as strong as I currently am... the main issue is that she herself isn't purposefully charming people, it is an uncontrolled power. I would be able to tell if she meant any harm" Caesar replied with a serious expression.

Ahri nodded her head in understanding... "what should we do then?"

"Hopefully we can learn some things on this journey, or perhaps your grandfather will know something about this anomaly... I assume it's nothing harmful though" Caesar explained calmly.

While absorbed with their conversation they shortly made it to the palace gates…

"Have a safe trip misses Ahri and your highness" The guards bowed deeply and opened the gates.

"Excellent work as always…" Caesar complimented and walked past them, Ahri followed behind him and they walked down the long fleet of steps.

Awaiting them below the steps were three carriages, Joe, and Edward.

Joe waved his hands once he caught sight of Caesar…

"Heh, did you guys need to take care of your urges before the long trip?" Joe asked with a devious grin.

Caesar sneered at him, "why would I need to do it before the trip when I can just do it during the trip"

Joe was stumped for words while Ahri glared at Caesar from behind.

Edward just shook his head with a wry smile, "let's get going, shall we? We have a long road ahead of us."

Edward jumped on one of the carriages as he spoke and grabbed the reigns, Joe jumped on the other and also grabbed the reigns.

Caesar and Ahri got on the back of the first carriage, the carriage was quite luxurious and spacious… It had a simple black and brown design making it very inconspicuous but still elegant.

Caesar sat down on one side of the carriage while Ahri sat on the other, once they sat down they could feel the carriage start to move.

"Oh yeah, weren't you starting a business… will it be fine without you being here for so long?" Ahri abruptly asked from one side of the carriage.

"I have already given Veronica my plans and funding, I have also entrusted Sebastian and my three subordinates to solve any unforeseen mishaps that could occur"

Ahri nodded her head in understanding "I see, you are so meticulous" her lips curled and she complimented.

Inside a large holy chapel, an old man sat on a throne, in front of him were three young girls that looked to be at the tender age of 14-15 and two young men that looked to be the same age.

"Your elder brother has fallen"

"Richard has fallen?" one of the young men asked seriously.

"Oh no, how could R-Richard be dead…" One of the girls stuttered and asked curiously.

"Hmph, he was a failure anyway," The young man on the right said coldly.

"Don't talk about your elder brother that way!" one of the women snapped.

"ENOUGH" The old man silenced the five teens.

"Your brother may have died but, he was not the only one… The elf saintess seems to have fallen as well…" The old man said in a sorrowful tone.

"What?!?" all five of them exclaimed while kneeling on the ground.

"He was on a mission to the northern forest, I want the five of you to go together and investigate the cause of his death…" The old man explained calmly.

"You want five holy paladins to go on a mission together, isn't one enough?" The man on the far right asked impatiently.

"Enough impudence, looking down on the enemy is your first mistake… Although all five of you are quite a bit stronger than Richard was, the enemy had killed him and the elf saintess"

"I heard that the elf saintess had not even awakened her holy abilities yet though," one of the young girls said.

"Hmmm" the old man leaned back in his throne and tapped his thigh.

Silence encompassed the room for a moment before finally, the old man spoke a few words.

"That is what worries me… what if someone, no, something is hunting all of those with holy capabilities…"

The old man paused for a second and continued…

"A threat without foundation must be eliminated, I expect to hear great things from your investigation" The old man waved his hand and the five teens all stood up and left the room quickly.

As they were walking away they all talked to each other in a hushed tone...

"Don't you think the pope is being too serious about this?" one of them asked.

"How many troops do you guys have in your battalion?" another one changed the subject and asked.

"I think together we have a total of 5000 crusaders, the pope wants to send all of them,?"

"Just do as you are told, we aren't here to ask questions," the cold man said with a fierce glint reflected in his eyes.
