Wuxing immediately figured out she meant. He gave her the purple crystal which he had been keeping inside his pocket all this time. "Sure, I can't keep it anyway."
Miss Guan admired the purple beauty before she smiled mysteriously. "Wow, it is a big one… I will take this as payment, then."
Wuxing couldn't figure out exactly what 'payment' meant, but he didn't dig deeper. Weariness was already setting in from the blood loss, so he just let it go.
The black-haired doctor casually untied her hair, letting it tumble down to frame her exquisite face, before calling out to the two guards protecting her from behind, "Let's go. Carry him and follow me."
Right before they picked Wuxing up, she added, "Oh, if you drop him, you guys are dead."
This made them more stressed than the usual. They didn't dare say a word other than affirmation as they knew that whenever she unties her hair, she meant serious business.
As they walked towards the prison guards, they could hear the leader of the patrol arguing with Long Qing over the custody of the green-eyed guard. Hearing the guard's accusations, Long Qing frowned for a second, before he suddenly pulled the green-eyed man with him, intending to bring the man away from them. "You guys talk to each other. I will go and make sure to question this guy thoroughly."
"Hold right there! I am not done yet," Miss Guan shouted expecting Long Qing to stop, but he actually acted as if he didn't hear her and continued to walk.

The sound of a bullet shot sounded for the sixth time today. The bullet exploded the rocks next to Long Qing's right foot, forcing him to stop his movements.
